Is the latest Evoque still likely to have steering rack bolt failure ? It’s all very well talking about cup holders, but the steering rack fault is a £3000 fix.

Volvo is as quirky as ever, and Range Rover are all looks and no substance, and they deserted the UK to gain larger profits overseas, so I'll never buy one.

You forgot something, the Evoque is simply much better looking than the Volvo. Plus the Volvo does not say, Range Rover, on it.

It's like comparing samsung with iPhone's cheapest phone.
Samsung give more features but iPhone is what people will prefer

Anyone giving car advice saying the evouqe is better shouldn't really be in that job.Itll spend more time at the dealers and the volvo has so much more class.

I have the xc40 now but ordered a brand new range its almost ready and cant wait , waaaay more luxurious

Wow I have seen probably about 30 different XC40 reviews and this is the first reviewer that says anything negative about the infotainment system. And dude you take the lid off the bin to EMPTY the bin. Not to throw the lid away.

So in other words from your drive test purchase a X1 or Q3 ….

Everyone praises Volvo interiors but in videos and photos I think they always look a bit sparse and boring…. Maybe it’s radically different in real life?
