I'm late to the party, but that analogy really helped. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat explanation and the low listening technique is so simple it's near genius.
ОтветитьStreaky is a legend!!
ОтветитьOne of the best Teacher❤❤❤
ОтветитьLearned more here in 12 minutes than I have in 4 years of learning this fucking trade.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьDang….
Ответитьla voz es el 99,9 % de enfoque en una canción 🤷♂
ОтветитьLooking forward to watching some football and remixing the game in my head!!
ОтветитьWhen I finished my track, I put my shirt over my head.
ОтветитьYour football analogy's are fucking brilliant.
ОтветитьThis blew my mind tbh
ОтветитьGood job, trainer!
ОтветитьInteresting. Logical really. It's the convergence point of mixing and arranging.
Ответитьso cleverly said
ОтветитьThis has to be the most UK way to explain mixing 😂
ОтветитьNothing but love for your videos 🙂
Ответитьthank you for sharing ur awesome knowledge
ОтветитьMaaaaan that it was!!! I've spent a week trying to make my song sound balanced and only now that I saw your video I was able to do it. Thanks very much dude :)
ОтветитьHonestly this one has been so helpful to me
Thanks 🙏
This the most helpful video I’ve seen
ОтветитьThis is a really nice mix.😎💯
ОтветитьDynamic eq with sidechain to focus the level of the focus track ? Pink noise reference tecnique for a balanced Raw mix ?
ОтветитьBrilliant clear advice. I need to be mindful of the focal points of every section of the mix. Cheers 👍🏻
ОтветитьThe audio engineer from the Metropolis studio (London) is back!👍
ОтветитьStreaky, you interested in a mixing/production project I’m looking to get a few of my songs recorded and mixed. Few of the lads at sound on sound have expressed an interest but want consistency across the tracks. Give us a shout if so 👍
ОтветитьStreaky, decent vid, as a big LFC fan this made some sense
ОтветитьBut wait. That's not football. That's soccer.
Ответить💡 yesss perfect analogy
ОтветитьLove the streaky channel. He been I n the biz a long time and still maintains his passion. As far as mix engineer goes. What the heck is that. Music producers make hit records not engineers. 😂🤣😅😆
Ответить🏆
ОтветитьAwesome analogy
Ответитьwow you good bro
ОтветитьI’m assuming this was fir beginners because there’s nothing new about this technique. I was really looking for a new and cutting edge technique
ОтветитьThanks for the good content! I build up a Homestudio the last years for my own Music but i feel i am more and more interessted in mastering. I always try to find beginner music to master and i dont want money for that. Its just fun for me to sweeten the songs and get them loud and hopefully send a song back that is ready for upload. I thought it is not possible for me to become maybe onetime a mastering engeneer but in one of your Videos you said it is the best to begin for hobby and make years of practise. Before you everyone told me you have to be a mixing engeneer for years to even think about mastering
ОтветитьBrilliant video. 🙏
ОтветитьOnly one element of the mix can own the main focus at any given time, and (as was emphasized in a video I watched earlier) only one element in the mix can own the very lowest frequency range of the mix at any given time
ОтветитьGlad I found this channel.
ОтветитьNonsense - I can focus on more than one thing at a time
ОтветитьThe cure to volume creep that works for me, when you want to turn it up turn it down by 10db first. wait a few minutes and then switch back to your previous listing volume. Cubase has a knob for this in the control room section.
ОтветитьAre you Louis van Gaal or a mix engineer? This was horrible
ОтветитьYour Honor i object....the 1st goal in football is not to concede a goal, this way you can't loose. 2nd objective is to always shoot one more than your opponent, this way you'll always win ,sorry i used to be a defensive midfielder. But please continue : `)
ОтветитьI thing this is not correct regarding focus in music ... The brain can hear max. four things (musical parts) at the same time in a song ... So for example one is lead vocal, the second rhythm section, (3) synth background, (4) backing vocals. But of course you can have a main element in a mix that you want to emphasize and that is 99% the case in pop music.
ОтветитьHi, great video thanks. So any advice on speaker calibration, spl, and pink noise? It seems the level 75-85db is really loud in my small home studio. Any tips on monitor listening levels would be awesome! Thanks for all your amazingness! Have a great day.
ОтветитьMy tutor needs tips from you
Ответитьstreaky you are brilliant.
Ответитьbah pop is easy, if you wana demo how to direct focus use modern metal like Periphery and Erra.
ОтветитьI remember doing this in the mid 90s, figuring out what I hear first from headphones that were just laying around. Cool to find this technique in a mixing video today!
ОтветитьYou are a life saver❤
