ОтветитьPerson I dogsit for, her father served in Vietnam. Said he lived in a ditch of thigh high water for 4 months.
ОтветитьI would like to be one of those 20 million. Where is the rest if the video? What is this mans name?
ОтветитьI think this guy would be a Kool president
Ответитьi wonder if any of the American soldiers feel guilt for destroying families in foreign countries, or do they just feel prouded for serving their country.
ОтветитьWhat a stupid war. We shouldn't have been over there
ОтветитьLest y’all forget China got GOT as well trying to war with Vietnam. Is what it is.
ОтветитьI, like many others, first heard his story in the Ken Burns documentary. One thing I admire about him is he sugarcoats nothing. He is 100% real. He says he doesn't want to be thanked for his service, so instead I thank him for being brave enough to share his story with us. And I thank you, David, for sharing his sharing his story.
ОтветитьThis is what russians will realize when they lose the war in Ukraine and the truth will be uncovered to them.
ОтветитьThat vianam war💥💀 all for what! What a lie 👹 that was? 😳
ОтветитьThe sad part is that President Lyndon Baines Johnson lied about the Gulf of Tonkin incident to get the US into this war and there is mounting evidence that he had President Kennedy killed to get himself into this position!
ОтветитьMy Great Papaw in WW2..
Papaw in Vietnam..
Dad in Desert Storm..
Me in Afghanistan 04-08..
PTSD is REAL
Americans .. The almighty US of A .. have always been .. and will always be the most heinous violent terrorists ever known to mankind
ОтветитьWar brings no victors only those who fund it! ( usually they fund both sides ) you work it out 🤯 why nobody challenges the real “war” I’ll never know 😢
ОтветитьA lot of the things he says reminds me of my thoughts in Afghanistan. History really does repeat itself.
Ответитьevery time you fight in foreign country, think again, why youre doint that and for wich one needs
ОтветитьI last commented on this video 2 years ago and I returned. I wonder, do you have anything from someone who was for the war? Or do you have anything that puts the CIA in a predicament ?
ОтветитьNot you literally have 20 milly views like him..lmao
ОтветитьI want remember his name but he became a famous poet. This video had it so down, the hair, the mustache, the glasses. I'm going back 50 years. My father said during WWII they went through North Hill with a lice comb looking for soldiers. In the Vietnam war before the draft it was the sons of rubber workers, the sons of steel workers, the sons of auto workers. After the draft and the college boys were selected that's when the protests started. Working class screwed again. The Left completely disregarded them.
ОтветитьThat was the sad truth of it all
ОтветитьNA teeth.
ОтветитьThis man was in Umass Amherst's feinberg series lecture's in 2023
ОтветитьLooks like a YOUNG HOWARD STERN.
ОтветитьMay God have mercy on us all. The X-man
ОтветитьIf i had to cite a single source of knowledge about the conflict, it would be this 'Interview'. But Ehrhart didn't only teach me about vietnam. To me it became clear why everyone that goes to war has to bend the truth, aka. lie. If 15 minutes of talking sense is all it takes to not only convey a grasp of reality, but also deliver a deadly blow to every motivation it takes to go to war in the first place, it becomes clear why people like him were regarded as dangerous.
In a world where truth, understanding & wisdom can be regarded as weapons,
people like Ehrhart become more impactfull than Oppenheimer ever could. Imho.
Thank you for sharing!
Thought we were here to help those people they hated us
ОтветитьWell at the fall of Saigon. When the last of the Marines left. Southern Vietnamese were begging and climbing off marine helicopters because they knew when the north came in that they would wipe out the South. And that's exactly what happened. Tens of millions of Vietnamese were killed after we pulled out
ОтветитьSounds like Iraq. Same reasons Bush used. Same people in charge
ОтветитьDoes his testimony remain accurate when applied to right and left wing extremism in a domestic capacity? If everyone wants to be left alone, who is antagonizing the American Modus operandi?
ОтветитьResonates very much with what Ruzzia is doing in Ukraine now
ОтветитьDude looks like a young howard stern
ОтветитьThere's the 'Hollywood Vietnam' that the americans love.
Then there's the american invasion.
They were beaten in both but that seems unimportant to americans for some reason.
This hubris and bravado of "Thank you for your service" appears to be the most important thing they've got.
Having sex with babies in front of their mothers while decapitating their children and slaughtering villages of peasants with massacres like My Lai seem unimportant so long as they save face.
They didn't.
The americans have done nothing but drag the planet down with them with invasion, slaughter, torture, crimes against humanity, maiming and so on.They deserve contempt and no respect for the 250+ years they've engaged in war/conflict and their proxy wars and mind games must cease at some stage.
I wonder where he is at now
ОтветитьSounds like how the Russians thought they’d be welcomed into Kyiv
Ответить"I'm wasting your tape." No, brother, you're not." Asked myself similar questions in northern Ireland back in the 70's. I just can't articulate like you. Wherever you are now, be at peace.
ОтветитьThank goodness we have somewhat learned our lesson and never sent troops to Ukraine.
Now we need to stop sending them billions of our American dollars and send it instead to fire victims in Hawaii or flood victims in Florida
im still waiting for this interview but from iraq, Afghanistan, cosovo, Yugoslavia, and many other US war invasions veterans, preaching the same exact message, details and honesty
ОтветитьNiko Bellic said it best "War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other"
ОтветитьRespect to this veteran for his service.
ОтветитьI wonder how many modern Vietnamese are watching this.
ОтветитьMost people don't know the full history of Vietnam's foreign occupation and war. Long before the U.S. involvement, there was the French occupation, followed by Japan. So the people of Vietnam had lived through many hells before we arrived. We are told many reasons why we were there, but many years later it seems they are better off on their own.
ОтветитьYo when did he create that title? Did he know this video would have 20 million views when he first posted??? Is this man Jesus???? I HAVE QUESTIONS!!!
ОтветитьHow do you win a war? You built infrastructure...build schools, hospitals etc etc...That is how you win.
ОтветитьМышление руского дурака, вторгнутся в чужую страну, и ожидать любви и приветствия от местного населения.
Ответить75+years later they still smell
ОтветитьCountless testimonies like this and yet y’all still believe the enemy is whoever they tell you it is. Keep waving your regarded Ukrainian flags… don’t worry, history won’t hold you accountable.
ОтветитьHe's too young to be a Vietnam vet.
Ответить
