There is common denominator here. 99% of these vehicles spinning out are rear wheel drive. This is why I use 4x4 when its wet, icy or snow.

Happened to me once in my semi, drive tires kicked out from under the trailer but I was able to save it. After that I decided Im not driving if its below 31 and expected to rain/snow or get foggy and never had to deal with something like that again.

Bridges freeze first.

The fact that the guy driving the White Nissan got out to look at his car proves beyond any doubt that he has zero spatial awareness at all. He was relieved/shocked to see he hadn't touched the wall when he never even got close. That's alarming.

In Maine, we have signs that say 'Bridge freezes before roads'. This is why. The ground acts as a big heatsink, keeping the roads from freezing until it's been well below freezing for hours, even days, but because wind moves around a bridge they can freeze quickly. Might sound obvious - but it clearly wasn't to these drivers, and I've seen people do this in my mirrors! I always let off the gas and coast over bridges when it's even close to freezing, even if there's little snow, because tires also tend to pick up melted snow from the regular roadway and lay it down to freeze when they hit a bridge.

Texas has no clue how to drive. I lived there for 5 years, and at the first drop of rain, the first frosting of ice, or even the first flake of snow, they slam on the brakes and pile it up. 😂

Here in the EU in winter we drive with winter tires. I think you must do the same
