I dealt with depression from October 2019 to April 2021. My day job is considered an essential service, so I worked hard during the pandemic. I was so drained at the end of the day that I didn't even have the mental strength to watch a tv show or a movie. This is what I'd watch until I started falling asleep.

My name is Chasie, I just wanted to tell you that I may not know you, and I certainly don't know what you're going through but I wanted to let you know that there is Genuine hope, and happiness. Before I tell you what it is I want to tell you a bit about my story and how this hope has changed my life and he is nothing like anything I have ever known. I know what it's like to go through rough times and I want you to know you are not alone and you are seen and heard and understood. And I wanted to give you some of that hope. 


When I was in highschool I was abused. Both by family and friends, I tried to end my life by my own hands 3 times and self harmed on multiple occasions. I had very little self esteem and confidence and I craved to be loved by someone literally anyone. I put my joy and happiness in people and things only to have those things taken from me or ripped out of my hands. I was not happy and I was not living a full and happy life. I didn't have hope and I couldn't seem to find someone that understands me or what I was going through. But that changed once I had met the one that understands me most. I'm here to tell you that there is Love for the broken hearted, mercy and healing, grace and forgiveness, and he is completely for you and on your side. His name is Jesus. He wants you to reach out to him in this moment of suffering that you are going through. He knows you are worth dying for and he views you as priceless. You don't have to put your joy and happiness in other things, in other people. So next time you are in a really rough place cry out to him. Put your faith and trust in him and you will be delivered. He is not some mad God his heart breaks for those who won't turn to him because he wants to heal them and give them life desperately. It's a fulfilling life that is not known to man. I can tell you now that if you put your hope faith and trust in him you won't be disappointed. He will deliver you just call on his name and believe the Gospel. 


For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever shall believe in him will have eternal life.
