My 6th string keeps buzzing but when I tune it higher it stops ._. But then it’s not a deep tone
ОтветитьI just setup my 7 string with your help, thanks Ola!
ОтветитьVery handy information! Thanks for your time in sharing. I will be saving this for future reference. Thanking you Robbbert from Melbourne Australia.
ОтветитьJust got a Ibanez RG470DX an my 1st fret & 2nd basically dead other than that good.
ОтветитьVigier Shawn Lane model...factory action is 0.7mm on high E and 1.0mm on low E
ОтветитьThat’s a wicked screen saver on your computer. What is it?
Ответитьidk if it's related, but i recently just setting the high of my strings and make it lower by setting up from the bridge, and now my 3rd and 4th string on the 9, 10, 11, 12 fret sounds off and it won't make a sound when i try to bend it, you think it's related to the string height?
Ответить1,8 -2,0 is a way too high
ОтветитьI can't bring down my action .. why is that
ОтветитьMy guitar only has a truss rod, lol.
ОтветитьMy strings feel really high, idk that's just how it came so I'm gonna try change it
ОтветитьIf I don’t sub will could come find me and fix my setup? lol
Ответитьalso I recommend doing this set up with your guitar in the playing position, because the neck can bend a lot in the table and when you play you have a completely different experience.
ОтветитьFor dead notes reach for the Way!!! The great mask
Ответитьmy action is like 3mm at 12th fret, but if i lower the saddle down, I start getting fret buzz above the 12th fret... What can I do to solve this?
ОтветитьIf only everything was a straight as can be. Too straight can stop a low action from being playable. The neck needs relief.
ОтветитьA very straightforward and no nonsense explanation.
Thx, I appreciate it.
come to this channel for detailed string and trus rod adjustments , oh yeah do it all by feel.
ОтветитьIf I have a Jackson js32 Kelly the b string is the only one that sitting aloha how would I hire just one specific string on a floating bridge
ОтветитьAwesome show again. Great riffs in the beginning. Chug project pre-ordered🔥
ОтветитьHow about adjusting an action with a Floyd Rose
ОтветитьThank you jesus of guitarist your a life saviour
ОтветитьBut if try bending different strings up step and half , you might find
Dead notes .
Good stuff Ola. It's nice to see guitar tech how -o on something other than a Fender playing soft rock.
ОтветитьHow do I fix brand spanking new strings lying on the metal frets? 😞😭 I’m in a wheelchair and can’t go out every day
ОтветитьGlad to see you again Ola
Ответитьdavid guetta <3
ОтветитьNo such thing as high action. Low action or GTFO. this dude I know plays with his strings like a quarter inch above the fretboard and his guitars are impossible to play, I like mine as low as you can get without having fret buzz. Allows me to expend less energy fretting and more energy concentrating on what I'm playing
ОтветитьI need help! I'm trying to lower the action on my 8 string evertune. whenever it gets even a little bit low, ALL the sustain is lost and if I bend the note disappears mid bend. I really cant play this guitar with the current problem. for it to resolve the action has to be much higher than I'd like. Its a solar 1.8AAN.
Ответитьdude your so right about just getting turned off by how the strings are i just got a new guitar and i was so confused why i hated it thank you sm🖤
ОтветитьThis dude told me he could help me get rid of my fret buzz. I told him I was all set because I didn't really truss him.
Yep.
Thank you for the basics and straight to the point. I love you
ОтветитьLol. I love how Ola explains what a smile means.
ОтветитьAny tricks on setting up tension on springs such that tremolo bar is optimized tension? I have new Ibanez have height perfect, try now to dial in tension on rear tremolo springs such that strings return slightly by minute amount to high side of tuner setpoint. Any tips?
ОтветитьI like the neck nearly straight but very little curve. I adjust the height of the strings until every note evenly buzz a little bit when played hard
Ответить🤘🤘🤘
ОтветитьI've been playing guitar the majority of my life (40y); I successfully used this video today.
😅 🤷♂️
Thanks, Ola!👌
String height adjustment for a dead note on 14th fret.🤦♂️
On my first guitar somehow every single note was dead
ОтветитьYou didn't really show how you did the bridge, only the truss rod, so I'm still none the wiser on that unfortunately.
ОтветитьThe older I get the higher the action and the less gain I use... These days I like just under 4/64th
Ответитьdavid gueta makin tutorials
ОтветитьThis video is still useful and still viable... the Ola... bought a matt red G series.. Amazing
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьIntonation after action setup??
ОтветитьOla: på en gitarr med floyd rose och sadellås, låser man upp låsen när man justerar halsen?
ОтветитьThank you for this!
ОтветитьAll adjustments should be done in playing positions bc the neck moves due to the weight of the body when you have it on the bench. Also, you should always have an amp on clean when you set up action because you're not looking for acoustic buzz you're looking for audible buzz. All electric guitars buzz a little acoustically but it's important that it doesn't come through the amp. Some guitars can get really low without losing sustain and no buzz coming through the amp but acoustically it might buzz a lot.
ОтветитьHey Ola, question, I will work on my guitar and I'm concerned about use 10-47 and 9-46. I suppose one or the other are not gonna cause any diference, meaning no buzz .
