It's not the record, needle or thread. It got to be the wooden slate. Why would you want the gimmick to be examined and making them think that's the one when it's the actual wooden doohicky that needs to be examined.

Fair play to Helen and nicely performed, but how is it possible this fooled P&T?!? There's been a few this series you just think the credibility has disappeared from the show

It's hard enough fooling them once. 6 times is just astounding (and for anyone who says it's easy, I believe you, but you need to go on and prove it before you make that claim.... seems fair). Very well done.

yes, two records to start with, one is pulled down, or one is pushed up, or the one pulled up breaks apart. Did P&T guess the wrong method? or gift her a 6th fool us? that is the mystery ???

So funny reading all the WRONG answers below. My favorite WRONG ones are the ones saying someone is hiding in the black table. Soo very WRONG.

All her tricks contain gimmicked props

The wand was threaded together with a left handed thread.

Methinks it's a customized prop box with a gaff'd record housed inside of it.. the original one only got pulled out at the very end of the act🤷🏽‍♂️

She’s honestly not doing anything , the magic is in the probs which her father created . She just does the presentation and she’s not even that good in it and not funny too

I can see the needle briefly pop out and in about 10mm as the record drops... but I have no idea how, if it jumped to a break, appeared one piece when P & T handled it. Many layers to think about.

when she finished the trick and handed the record and needle over without being asked to i shouted WHAT? WHAT?

One of the first immediate things noticed was when she took the record out of the cover and placed it in the cabinet, one side was shiny, one side was dull. There are two records stuck together, one vinyl, and one of a breakable, perhaps "paper-cellulose" or a "sugar" type material. She pulls the ribbon through both of the records, after the needle is out, notice she separates the two records with her thumbnail as she lifts the breakable record out, leaving the vinyl record in the cabinet. Then she places the needle back into the vinyl record still in the cabinet, when the breakable record comes back down, it is broken by the needle, freeing the ribbon from the breakable record. Then, via a mechanism, trap door perhaps, it's disposed of. She really should work on getting the breakable record to have the same shiny finish like the vinyl record. Details make all the difference. Still clever and fun.

Her father should get the Fool Us trophies. He builds the tricks she just performs them.

Hate to say the trick was extremely lacking in the entertainment category

the disc she pulled up was a second gimmick one (and had a similar string attached).. the original disc which they chose in the start stayed in place all the time..

I literally hate this woman so much. Her tricks all suck and yet somehow she ends up “fooling” them every time? The first time it happened I thought they just felt bad for her but I have no idea what’s going on at this point. Actually good magicians like Shawn Farquhar, Jandro and Paul Gertner have been on multiple times but not fooled them every time and this annoying lady (with horrible patter) has done it 6 times? Something doesn’t add up..

I bet you find her father to be an engineering genius! Helen is the front!

You see it’s pretty easy, she just did real magic.

Its a variation of the Chinese rings trick.

It was such an easy trick, Don't know how this fools them. Anyone can do it easily. But yes, hats off to the lady for fooling them the 6th time.

Each and every trick or her could never have fooled them. This is a pure scam from P&T to "honor" women in magic. Sadly still people fall for it. The trick is well explained in the comments below and there is no chance P&T would ever be fooled by that.

She is obviously a very close friend of the family most of her tricks are not that hard to figure out and not even that good honestly but they just roll right over for her they do that a lot you can tell when they like someone

Fooling these two legends is almost IMPOSSIBLE...!!!!!
BUT she did it 6 Times counting this video.
Fake magicians who used lots of camera tricks or lots of assistants eg. Street magicians David Blaine, criss Angel, Dynamo etc.
They even don't dare to perform atleast one time infront of these two well-experience magic masters.
Sorry to say to all their fans.

yes, that lady is amazing but her father is a genius to come up with all those very very good tricks BUT.... the fact that Penn did not even tried to come up with a single explanation proove that, for the show, they really want her to go back home with a trophee. I've seen conuntless magicien coming to that show with manipulation acts that are so so good and hard to execute and then, with a single phrase like:" of course we know about the dark matter principle and turtles...!" they discard them as fooler while with this ninyl trick they did not try anything, not talking about that special wood box with 4 doors that no one has inspected, about the fact that we have no proof that all ninyl are probably erxactly the same in every album covers..... that the vinyl that we saw above the wood box is probably not the same that we saw in the wood box at the end of the trick...... that all proove that this show is rig! (they did not even talk about the "threading the needle" trick!!!) again, very very good for her but...

There's blade somewhere in the box that cuts through the record as it is pushed down till the middle. When the needle is placed right in front of the meedle, a rapid heating process melts the two sides of the torn record to be welded back together. And in the following minute it gets cold again, as good as new. Some special press inside there probably helped conceal the cut, torn and repaired line.
