I’m so glad I found this video. I’m British but live in America now and Ive had sheep’s head dishes before but never pigs. I noticed walmart has started selling pigs heads and they are pretty reasonably priced at 97c/pound but I was unsure about what to make with one. Since lunch meats are sooooo high priced these days I might give something like this a go. I don’t have a press of any kind though but might could make one out of a loaf pan, some wood and some G clamps…I think it might work. I bet this is good in a hearty sandwich with some sliced pickled beets.
ОтветитьPan fried it, or coated with batter, and deep fried. It taste better.😊
ОтветитьIt looks absolutely amazing, Scott. And I'm sure it tastes as good as you say.
ОтветитьHow the heck can approx 1,000 people vote down on this mans Genius? Shame on you downtrodden.
ОтветитьI want a food press! Where do I get one?
ОтветитьYou forgot the glass of wine at the end. I could almost taste it too.
ОтветитьDamn! You make it look so easy....
ОтветитьI've never boiled a face before.
ОтветитьIn my opinion great vidio, i do this, brilliant, you using the brains?
ОтветитьLoved this.
ОтветитьAbsolutely a delicious dish to make bro , love your content, keep up the great work, I do a lot of my own butchering with Wild Deer & Pigs Down Under here in Australia …🙌

ОтветитьLooks just like a Danish rullepølse check One Of Them put Scott i have a feeling it Will be right up your Alley !!!
ОтветитьMr Scot is it possible you could help me locate a ham press simular to the one you use in your video? I'd be greatful for your help!!
ОтветитьGreat video really clear excellent direction thank you .
Ответитьi never would have thought of eating something as vile and disgusting as pig head anything......but you have turned this pig head into a delicacy that i must taste!! 🤣😂😆
ОтветитьI love your work mate!
ОтветитьIf I come across the pond, brother, I would love to visit!
ОтветитьNot sure whether the trotters are best or the heads? I love the gelatinous flavour of both! I can't believe people waste the best parts!
ОтветитьI love your recipe mate, way better than mine!I tried it today! Beautiful, thanks mate!
ОтветитьI do it a little bit differently and get a bit more meat off, but I reckon you do it faster! I leave the ears for balance while I do the cheeks, and I take a bit more time to get a bit more meat. I guess commercially it's not worth it for the time it takes. I only do my own animals on farm. Cool stuff brother, glad you're not wasting it though! You are fast!
ОтветитьAbsolutely classic mouthwatering shit! Meat without the bs. Were the days of yonder actually better...!? Thanks for the skills bruv ; D
ОтветитьPeople!
This Butcher/Chef is Brilliant! He actually made pigs 🐷 head very appetizing! Fantastic!
I can't help feeling sorry for that poor little piggy. He got butchered as if he was a piece of meat.
ОтветитьI love your videos I’ve been watching for a long time thank you for all the hard work
ОтветитьIf you leave the ears on you don’t need the towel. Take the ears off later
ОтветитьI don’t know why, but dealing with the head of any animal is very difficult. This looks amazing and what a great video. I’ve tried several of your recipes and find them easy to follow. Thanks mate.
ОтветитьNice work, just one bite?
ОтветитьI've come to revisit and you always keep me happy. She's a beauty and the antique press is so perfect.
It still hasn't gotten better as time goes but the best remains thanks to guys like you.
Commodity heads at $1/# and we picked up 6. One made fantastic porchetta and still five on-hand. I'll do it your way early next week and give it away if they're afraid to buy it. 🍻🍻
You've inspired me Scott! I've just butchered my first pig and I'll definitely be trying this with the head. 👍
ОтветитьWhat a transformation. Looks great.
ОтветитьThat pig's been out on the tiles - he's off his face!
ОтветитьOutstanding…. Alchemy… so true!❤️
Ответить"Just think what you'd usually do with a pigs head"
David Cameron:
great stuff iam going to try thx scott
ОтветитьThanks for the video....but at some point the head was attached to the pig. Need a video on how to behead the pig.... :-)
ОтветитьLooks great. Would it stay together if you threw the slices in a pan or smoked it?
ОтветитьBet the knife was sharp as hell; that's the way to avoid injuries (well, afaik anyway). Fantastic meat there, my friend. Why on earth have I the tendency to look your videos at midnight? I will have nightmares for NOT having a taste of that lovely delicacy.
Ответитьthe amount of labour that went into that amazing oinker is gonna cost about £1 or £2 a slice and that is probably why you'll never see it for sale but oh my god it looks delicious and if you're skilled enough i bet you could make some amazing meals for your family.
ОтветитьInteresting, where I could purchase form like that ?
ОтветитьWell, I'm convinced!! :-)
Ответитьmmm looks delicious, this weekends project , thanks 👍
ОтветитьThat’s the foulest thing ever it’s full of hair and there not tiny either… boiling water won’t get rid of them or make them smaller I wouldn’t be surprised you’re one of those ppl who takes a shower once ever 3 months nasty 🤢 I’ve seen how y use onions in stock and others why don’t u get rid of the nasty dirt, mold filled head on the onion is beyond me just nasty…
ОтветитьIn Romania it is also made in this kind, but the meat is crushed and boiled in the pig's stomach, it is called Toba (Drum )
ОтветитьThe burns on the pigs forehead is where the pig shot by some electrical device?
Ответить
