first clip the ai just makes everyone sound like they're dubbing over their lines in a closet, not to mention the lack of noise that just makes everything awkward..
this just feels like a new wave of those shitty 12-24fps animations converted to 60fps where it just makes everything look too smooth and weird

Wow, the three stooges example blew my mind. While I'd love to see full episodes that sound this good, it's very distracting and probably wouldn't appeal to lots of folks.

I like the sound a little dirty with room noise with these clips.

That’s pretty cool, but I would never want the original audio replaced. Maybe added as an option but we need to preserve history.

Not good. Moe is supposed to be talking in a courtroom with high ceilings and echos. The AI makes it sound like he is talking into a microphone in a sound booth.

In Tom & Jerry background music gone this AI software only for speech recordings! Not for audio remastering

This is great, listening to the old audio is tiring to the ear and very helpful to people with auditory processing disorder, and before you say it, we also need to preserve the original

Has anyone tried applying this tech to Steamboat Willie? I know that film barely has any speech in it, but I just want an idea of what the original recording session for that cartoon sounded like with the veil of the primitive audio quality (i.e. the tinny, warbly and constantly spiking mono sound) lifted.
