The individual collecting the sample from Ryan and sending them off has a certification in sample collection as well. Ryan popped dirty twice on two separate days. By a qualitative test. The B sample on both days are going to show the same results. I say this as an analytical chemist myself. Labs run blanks every 10 samples to ensure no contamination. They run a lab controlled standard, a matrix spike and matrix spike duplicate to ensure the instrument didn’t drift and is working properly. The lab spikes are to ensure the recoveries aren’t being lowered due to interferences. Once the test results are complete, a licensed medical officer reviews the data.
