Remember those multi demo discs for pc that came in magazines? i got sc 1 demo in one of those, one of my most treasured discs even if it was just the demo, i replayed the same missions dozens of times, looked at the map and often clicked on the "doors" that were on cliffs, hoping that it would activate something. I also remember finding a pirated disc for sale for 15 bucks!, we didnt have that kind of money for games though, and i was a kid like 7-8 years old didn't even have internet. FF 10 years or so, i got dsl and learned a few tricks on how to search for stuff on google, turns out that some guy had both discs available for download to whoever could access the server and the key was on a txt file, free sc! played the SHIT out of UMS with other people, amassed around 1k maps!. I bought both sc broodwar and sc2 now that i can (sc 1 went free a few months after i bought it lmao) , rarely play them anymore... except the music

The game is unique, it just takes us to a distant possible future, space filled with unknown and dangerous adventures in the confrontation between the three early races: Terran, Zerg and Protos with an amazing balance of space interplanetary battles, storylines. The music is still captivating. Thanks for the reminder, it's nice to hear and remember the Starcraft fantasy come alive again.
