Is this channel for hearing impaired😅
ОтветитьI have bars in 2×4's and a lensed board in a 3×3, the board seems to run much cooler than the bars.
ОтветитьMost of the newer boards use lensing to get comparable light distribution to bars.
ОтветитьWhy are all these types of reviews geared towards 16 year olds?
ОтветитьYou sound like stewie
ОтветитьOne thing about boards, putting two of them next to each other gives you 3x the available high intensity space. The bleed-off from the sides doubles up and gives you a nice continuation of growing area.
ОтветитьI use 700 watt bar in a 4×4. Perfect fit, gets a Lil warm on full blast but that's my only gripe
Ответитьyou wont go wrong with HLG dont settle for less your plants deserve the best they have both bar and board style and Horticulture Lighting will blow mars hydro out of the water
Ответитьnice video. If I use your discount code, what % discount will I get from Mars Hydro? And is that on the entire range? And does that also apply to Europe?
Ответитьbar lights have hotspots as well, it actually doesnt matter if its a board or bar-style, its all about the diode count, size and placement for proper light spread
ОтветитьI've been using the Volt VL1 for 5 years and am very pleased with my yields
ОтветитьMars Hydro put some Samsung LED for Europe and finish with LG led great job MH
ОтветитьI use both. 2 bar and 2 panels in each 2x4. I think the far blue and red add a little something more.
ОтветитьMan, I wish I would have known the benefits before spending 350 on a quantum board! I guess I still saved a bit of money considering the mark up some of those bar style lights have on the price.
ОтветитьThanks for explaining the difference between the two. I’m new to growing and this really helps. I just ordered a board style (SF-2000) LED for my first grow, but my next light will be a bar style LED. Probably Mars-Hydro. Thanks again bro.
ОтветитьI used your code to buy a mars hydro fc6500. Thx for the videos!
ОтветитьSo what's better for flowering. full spectrum or red with soft white. I have both options
ОтветитьBars are best can run them closer to plant = more efficent and more uniform n less heat
ОтветитьJust about all current generation LED lights put out more than enough light and provide the correct spectrum whether they are quantum board or bar style. So light distribution is the tie breaker in my view. And at the current time the clear winner is the Viparspectra XS1500 Pro with it's nearly flawless PAR map light spread. Only a 10% dropoff from the center to the corners. No one else comes close. And this is a quantum board. The lenses are the reason. So for a 2 x 2, 2 x 4, or 4 x 4, you can achieve an incredibly even light distribution to the canopy by using 1, 2, or 4 of these lights. If heat is a problem, the new XS3000 Pro (2 1500s connected by two rods) has a removable driver which can be located outside the tent.
And the price is great. As I said, right now, I cannot see any other light being better. No, I am not a Viparspectra employee, I just know how to read the reviewers PAR tests and chose those lights based on that.
What would HLG’s Diablo and Scorpion be classified as they kind of look like both bars and boards
ОтветитьI got an Viparspectra xs 2000 for an 2by3 feet Space and it works great.
And an Spiderfarmer 1000 plus cheap bar Lights on the wall for an 2by2 , it works ok .
But soon i plan an about 5 by 3.2 set up,u got any Recommendations for a light?
Sorry english aint my native language If there are any mistakes
Love ur content
Hey Matt, haven’t heard from you hope you’re doing well….peace your homie , kathleen 😅
ОтветитьWhich ones run cooler. That’s the main thing I wanna know. The smaller the tent the more heat problems so cool lights matter
ОтветитьWorse lights are CFL bulbs, the end. Bar lights and quantum boards are sweet. Even my 90w vipaspectra p600 is 'perfect' for one plant. Let's see some plants instead 🙃
ОтветитьGot that mars hydro fc 6500 and that good sunlight for the outdoor
ОтветитьWhy was there black tape covering the ir and uv diodes
ОтветитьHi Matt what’s ur discount code for mars hydro pls
ОтветитьHi,found your channel recently. Was looking for a light and you made me get a mars hydro fc4800.Realy like how you can put the driver outside.Doing my first autoflower under it, the girls like it.
ОтветитьI got a sunshine farmre yes farmre and I gotta say I am seriously impressed it was very cheap for the size it is and it outperforms alot of my expensive top shelf lights
ОтветитьI use board and a 2 kind led bloom supplemental grow bar lighrs kinda best of both worlds
ОтветитьGreat Info as always!
ОтветитьLive in germany youse the Mars hydro fce 8000
ОтветитьI'm with u on the Mars hydro I have the ts series. I have the ts600 ts1000 and the ts3000 I love marshydro
ОтветитьI can put my driver's outside the tent with a quantum board.
ОтветитьI got the the mars hydro st3000 the 450w bored its pretty good! My hlg's were better though nothing but fat nugs all the way down with the hlg
Ответить🤘🪴💚
ОтветитьWhy does nobody support the migro lights?I’ll tell you.paid promotion.
ОтветитьDont forget that alot of time bar style lights have the ability to mount the driver outside the tent to lower heat even more
Ответить🔥show
ОтветитьThumbs up 304
ОтветитьHello bro'
Great episode! Very interesting.... I've learnt a lot of infos from it, thanks Matt for the good job...
Take care. Peace 🖐️
I run ac evo 6 in the 4x4 and a bp3000 in my 2x2.5 and the only downside for me is heat from the bp3000. I will admit the ac evo 6 is a monster though and the evo 4 will be replacing the bp3000 eventually.
ОтветитьI have all kinds of different lights when I was starting out. Mx 240 growatt, groplanner, and a few others I can't name at the moment but bar style is the best in my opinion
ОтветитьHappy to help out with patrion, and get 🔥 seeds and samples to boot!!!!!
ОтветитьI'm using the Mars hydro ts1000 it has worked for me just fine it's affordable and very energy efficient
ОтветитьLights like the sp6500 were made specifically for greenhouses or large cellings .
I have a larger space and a handful of use sp6500 in warmer months but still need double ended hps in cold months.
I am new to growing and was wondering if the Spider Farmer SE1000W is any good?
Ответитьstop talking so fast so skippy
