Know the Early Warning Signs of a Heart Attack?

Every time I go from standing still to moving I have to fill my lungs with air otherwise my heart feels like it's gonna beat out of my chest. Painful beats. Also have a general weak feeling in my chest and get dizzy all the time.

This was very stressful. It's so hard to tell the difference between anxiety and fatigue, and these heart problems. No one listening either. If you have anxiety, everyone always blames the symptoms on anxiety. So how am I supposed to know?!

I have shoulder blade pain on my left side, and arm. But I have this for almost a year now. And also this looking up the video increase my anxiety more, shouldn’t have done this

I had some chest discomfort. I described it to my doctor as little pinches all about my chest. He said not to worry. That there is a condition that causes what I described(forget the name). From what I remember, the nerves under my skin get irritated. About two years later, now it’s something different. When I move a certain way, I get mild pain in my chest. I don’t really get it sitting still. Like right now I don’t have any pain or pressure in my chest. I dunno. Maybe back to the doctor.

Very useful. In terms of actual symptoms, it’s the nausea, sudden sweat and pain on left shoulder/arm, from experience. Many of these can manifest for days, but sudden sweating on top of other symptoms (without intense activity or change in temperature) might mean things are going downhill rapidly.

When you breathe in an irregular fashion (f.x. because of anxiety) in conjunction with bad posture you can experience chest pain. When you have too much attention on your bodily symptoms you might perceive chest pain (that is really just a part of normal bodily symptoms). So, you can experience chest pain for variety of reasons. Just, be ready if it doesn't go away or gets worse, then you might have to worry, OR it's in conjunction with other heart attack symptoms.

I work nights in a physically demanding job... One day I was on my way home and standing at a bus stop when I starting sweating like crazy and feeling weak..... I didnt have any chest pains but felt a slight squeeze around my chest and shoulders. I was struggling to stand straight and keep my balance. Then my ears popped. This all happened in a 15 mins period but when I got on a bus and sit down I felt better. Is this concerning? only happened a couple of months ago

A couple years ago I was having random pains in my stomach and chest. I know it was poor diet and being severely overweight. I ran across several videos on how to start taking care of my body with diet and exercise and overall you need to stay active on your feet at least a few hours everyday. One of the recommendations I noticed over and over again were people recommending eating at least 8 strawberries everyday especially if you have acid reflux. Do your own research on natural healing from acid reflux because I think that's what usually causes warning signs for the heart attack.

then it was hurting, i actually pressured it with a thumb and it hurted more so that means its just muscle strain? must be because yesterady i nonstopped biked and also i was holding my grip too much must be from the intensity of my arm's muscle too

I went to my cardiologist to get my heart checked since I was worried that I would’ve had a heart condition. I was experiencing left arm discomfort but only on a tiny spot or sometimes it spreads around the whole arm. I was experiencing palpitations too, turns out that I lacked vitamin B12. Explains the fatigue and pain all over the body.

Doc Mike: Could you do some videos about women and heart disease/coronary events? I have a late 40s high school friend who had a heart attack. Her only early symptom was <extreme jaw pain> and then <sweating>. Sometimes symptoms can be easily dismissed such as shortness of breath on exertion (SOBOE), fatigue and heart symptoms (pain, tightness, palpitations) while exercising or doing hard work. Dismissed as deconditioning, etc. Women’s CVD and particularly small vessel disease (SVD), is different vs men’s CVD.
