First lynel I encountered I shot my special arrow at it without even knowing what it does. I accidentally noclipped it out of reality without even knowing that I would.

I mean, as we're talking about Master Mode Lynels here, the health regeneration doesn't give a lot of room for different types. You either cheese (2-5) or you tryhard (1)

You forgot the ‘souls veteran’ who treats it like a dark souls boss and only dodges for flurry attacks

I’m the barbarian, fully upgraded full barbarian armour set with master sword and savage Lynel bow, comes at the lynel and starts flurry rushing, parrying, headshotting, using ravalis gale to mount it, and urbosas fury to get an easy mount. Silver lynels fear me.

I’m a flurry rusher, I basically fight exclusively using flurry rushes, and the occasional mount.

Probably should have included the "Dodgy Bastard" and just rely on flurry rushes. S'what I do. I don't even use the bow.

I take em down using flurry rushes. And every time they roar and light the place on fire, I parry it 😎

In TotK there’s the "Quintuple-Shot Bomb Arrow Cheeser" which is what I did for that one lynel in the Depths below Hyrule Castle. Just stood over the ledge and destroyed him

You see what gets me about this is that “the casual” is literally the hardest way to beat a lynel. The other methods feel like cheesing (in the worst way) the whole fight because they’re both way more effective but not harder to pull off. TOTK exacerbates this even more

causal. that'd be me. I dodge almost every attack. shoot in his face and mount. use the fires he makes to get in air and slo mo bow shot.
expect lynel are immune to every element. except bomb arrows are not technically an element.
even white and golden mane lynels arent very difficult
