his kit seems pretty much identical to the heavy in the pve missions just with better movement and healing component.

I hope they do this for more heroes

I can already see a triple burn team comp with mauga, ashe, and torb. Ashe enables mauga to crit with her dynamite while torb controls large areas and in conjunction with mauga's cage, can wipe enemies caught in the cage. Supports that can amp damage output would be very strong, especially with baptiste window or weaver with tree and grip to peel.

Excited for Mauga's inclusion. He lives up to his character design by being a rushdown brawler tank, which I feel provides good balance to the style of tanks overall within the heroes roster.

Could see him having great synergy with aggressive flank heroes that thrive off close-range combat.

Blizzard needs to stop creating these Brawler tanks as they are not viable in 5 vs 5 as they only work in 6 vs 6. Either stop making them completely or just add a new role call Brawl.

As a PHARAH main since early 2017...MAUGA is the replacement for BASTION/JUNKRAT/BABY DVA in that it's EASY to drain the HP of these particular heroes without much trouble & rack up easy kills

Ana wrecks this guy just like Roadhogs because he doesn't have a shield. He seems quite glass cannony for a tank but when played in a proper way is very powerful.

If you are trying to showcase it dealing critical damage on burning targets, how about not aiming for the head?

EDIT - ok holy shit, that ult with a Bap lamp outside of the barrier is literally unlimited ammo and you cannot die, it's a teamwipe with 2 teammates with half a brain cell.

even if you NEVER use it for how it's intended you basically create a barrier zone that protects you and gives you endless ammo. that is DISGUSTING compared to the likes of a DVA ult that basically just gives you an extra mech (after being left vulnerable for a few seconds) and a temporary area of denial that may give you a kill

i don't like how this also kinda makes JunkerQueen a joke. she has half his health, has to proc stupid DOTs that are harder to trigger to regain health, an ULT that gets countered by over a dozen abilities it seems, an axe that feels like it's being swung by an anemic fat kid, and a knife that is basically jazz hands
