This is why people actually need Critical Race Theory. They don't want to bother to learn and change for themselves and they for sure aren't going to teach their kids, but are likely to pass on their prejudices. Schools serve society and the children, not the parents, if people are incapable of raising proper citizens at their own homes schools need to take charge.

It doesn’t matter what race you are whether you’re white, black, Asian, hispanic, etc… if you are alive and are born you have the capacity to be prejudice and this is perfectly normal it happens due to not only the media you consume but as well as social and economic factors that take place… your own experiences in life with the opposite races shape how you view the race as a whole it shouldn’t but it does only when you act upon your prejudice and present yourself to be unhelpful, resentful, and openly hostile towards the other races by either excluding the other races from particular activities or doing particular actions such as hate speech or violence against a different race in response when it isn’t warranted makes you racist…
It’s not as simple as black or white the world is always grey… complex…


I am black and I have known some extremely racist and hateful and conniving white people in my life but I’m thankful to God in my life that I have met so many that feels the opposite and most white people are cool asf and chill I’ve met really racist Indian people, really racist hispanics hell even really ignorant and racist people of my own race… In my short life I have seen the absolute worse in all races and the absolute best in those races as well… I cannot simply call all white people racist because for the fact I do not know all white people

Sure sometimes they may say the wrong things sometimes and makes mistakes what race is perfect not whites not blacks not Asians not Hispanics, not one race is perfect but as long as they try and have an open mind and capacity to change I’ll be willing to work with hell even have interracial relationships the focus of things like this is not to call out or single out white people this is simply an example this can be applied to all races… things like this shouldn’t be viewed as woke because it’s sucks up to black people and seeks to demonize white people because it’s not that this example is diversity this is a problem with history that must be addressed kids and adults alike forget that somethings are apart of the past and will say beliefs from the past instead of learning from the here and now we should learn how to grow together…together in arms is what will make us stronger we see each other every day and we’re afraid of each other and what we may say or do we live in entirely different cultures on the same world…it may sound cheesy but to those that live in hate and sprout these racist comments I wanna say that odds are you spend your whole lives hating another race just because of how they look is stupid because if you spend your lifetime avoiding black people chances are you won’t be killed by a black person you’ll be killed by your own…

Your own people will use your instinctual fear and hatred of another race to their advantage to distract, manipulate, and exploit you … not to mention you are missing out on an entirely different cultures and an entirely new world around you…

Usually those bad apples of all races either suffer from economic factors or from a lack of love and discipline at home they lack role models and look to and through screens for them to teach them rather than look in person for them…

Racism has never died and it most likely never will die because of fear and hate is in all of us and it is us to determine what we use our spirit for…
Would you like your hate and fear to succumb you, will you use those emotions to push them back out in negativity or will you use those experiences of other races as lessons… people stopped being insightful to think and allow others to judge their actions and beliefs…
There are good people and bad people and bad people can make good people bad people…
History should be preserved and remembered so we may not repeat the mistakes those before us made

To quantify an entire race as being bad, evil, violent, regardless of any statistics is foolish because statistics itself is apt to change at any given moment…

Go out there mingle with people outside your race and give it a try use your instincts and set aside prejudice for a moment you’ll meet some good people of the opposite race and you’ll even make good friends that’ll last a lifetime… always think before you speak and before you speak think again… and those who cannot change your old world is dying and eventually you’ll die along with it and you’ll have spent your entire life in hatred of others from either few or many experiences remember those experiences are just that be open to the next new one…

So I’m a white guy from Atlanta area. Yes I know a lot about my ancestry, the good and the bad. Also I love this show. Donald glover is awesome at using ridiculous over the top imagery to expose serious issues in society. This episode for me came down to a couple of things to me. First off the whole tone of the episode really just shows how ridiculous it is for people to fear any kind of reparations or resolvement to heal the wounds of slavery. Yeah things will change, that’s life. On the other hand there are a lot of people who think they will be come destitute over night like Marshall. Which is ridiculous. The other thing is the dig at the end where Marshall is now a waiter who is living off of tips. One it’s a dig at how gratuity became mainstream in post civil war era where ex slaves were denied wages and had to live off of gratuity. On a deeper note I felt like it was also dig at how our country fails to really fix racial issues. For example New Jersey swapped from slaves in the 1820’s to required unpaid internships that stayed a practice till 1865. Or like how ex-slaves couldn’t get a decent wage in the south after the war. The 1960’s we had the civil rights movement, but a lot of major cities became more segregated due to economics. So at the end they just swapped white families for black families, but you still have other minorities still facing the same old BS. You didn’t fix anything really as a whole.

Stfu with this bs, garbage tv shows like this want to make easily manipulated white people feel like they racist just for existing and being happy/comfortable.
