Thank you~
ОтветитьDo you guys handwash in the room or take to laundromat? Any tricks to cleaning by hand?
ОтветитьI'm amazed by how much you're able to carry on. I'm booking flights for vietnam and both vietjet and vietarilines seems to limit carry on to 7kgs between both main bag and personal item. Did you ever have your bags weighed in Vietnam? I debating just buying checked luggage.
ОтветитьSneakers: What brand makes the black women's sneakers? I've been looking for the perfect pair. Thank You!!❣
ОтветитьCanadian and Mexican airlines actually have a 20inch tall maximum AND everyway side max. Theses luggage’s will never pass the little box at the entrance of the gate. You might get away from time to time but expect them to be mandatory checked
ОтветитьI got a question, would I be able to carry prescription acne cream and wipes in carry on bag?
ОтветитьDo you guys use a translator device? Or could recommend any?
ОтветитьDoes it still fit under the seat if it's expanded?
ОтветитьWent back and forth on a hard sided case or a lightweight backpack. Very happy I did when I saw my brother’s honeymoon pictures in Italy. His new wife’s hard-sided case broke on the cobblestone streets and for two weeks they had to carry the thing. Which was absolutely not designed to be carried.
ОтветитьIs there a video to show how you packed it all into your carry on?
ОтветитьLove your dress!
ОтветитьHow heavy are your cases? In Australia we usually only get 7kg for carry on!
ОтветитьThank so much …I love it ♥️
ОтветитьAlso, plastic shower caps are better for packing sneakers. Protects your clothes from your shoes but isn't a bulky plastic bag.
ОтветитьPacking cubes work best when they are designed for the actual carryon. I LOVE my monos carryon and packing cubes. Everything is organized, and there are ZERO gaps in the case. Love, love, love it and I highly recommend you looking into the brand. I don't get any money, just love the brand. I love how their compression system works because it actually compresses your clothes.
ОтветитьIt’s difficult to say within the social rules that aren’t that obvious, a fear of constantly being found out for something being “wrong” with me. I love your perspective on this, thank you!🌸
ОтветитьHow do people afford to travel for a living 😭
ОтветитьLove your information! You guys are great! MAritimers are the best!
ОтветитьWould you mind sharing a video of how you packed all of your clothes and shoes in your carry-on bag?
ОтветитьGreat video I was wondering will all airlines allow both a carry on and a backpack? Yours seems pretty large?
ОтветитьCan you take both your carryon suitcases and those backpacks? I try to travel with just a back pack that is within the max dimensions of a carry-on bag.
ОтветитьI have seen some monstrous carry on pieces, that the airlines should have insisted go in the checked baggage. Australian carry on luggage is: 7kg limit, with maximum dimensions. 1 piece = 56cm long x 36cm wide x 23cm deep; Or, 2 smaller pieces = 48cm/34cm/23cm; or, 1 piece as above plus suit pack 114cl tall x 60cm wide x 11cm deep. ALL options with that 7kg limit, plus a "personal item" such as a laptop, handbag, umbrella or walking stick, reading matter, crutches or prosthetics, etc. Small musical instruments have a limit of 83cm x 34cm x 23cm (total linear 142cm) and substitute for the previous carry on.
ОтветитьThe lock is pointless
ОтветитьGreat Video 🎉 You have a new scriber
ОтветитьLove your video. My husband and I travel all over as retirees with just carry-on bags only. Love Thailand been there about dozen times.
ОтветитьIt seems that the backpacks would be bigger than what airlines would count as a "personal" bag (example 16"x12"x6"-British Airways). How do you get both the carry-on and the backpack allowed onto the main airline cabin. Is there a trick? Or do you just have to check a bag?
ОтветитьLove this video! Thanks very helpful. Just wondering how heavy is your luggage?
ОтветитьWonderful tips, thanks ..
but I will always travel with a light crushable jacket or windbreaker and not bother buying at every destination. You can just string it around your waist and out of the way. It's also good protection from bugs when you are sitting on airline or bus seats. A flight attendant told me that. I also always travel with a sarong. It's very light and versatile and can be used as a light coverup from a shower or the beach, an attractive skirt or casual dress.
I only travel carry-on. Years ago we went to Europe for the Christmas markets. We were staying 3 weeks and I foolishly thought since our flight was direct from Detroit to Paris, I would take a larger suitcase and check my bag. BIG a mistake. My husband’s suitcase made it. Mine was lost for 3 days so my first stay in Paris was almost ruined. I decided to make the best of it and did a little shopping 😉. Have not checked a bag since. Next trip is to the Basque region in Spain and France…and of course, I will be carrying on. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьAlso, the only time I check luggage is when I'm bringing home wine. 🍷 🍾
ОтветитьJust found your channel. Was thinking about Bangkok. Think I'll go to Japan this spring instead.
ОтветитьWhat about cold weather when you need jackets and sweaters
ОтветитьI just watched Carry On luggage and Backpack video. I will be traveling internationally this summer for 6 weeks on Emirates and couple airlines First class on Emirates and Business Class on the other airlines. I'm looking at bringing a Carry On Expandable from Mono's and a Backpack possibly Peak design that expands to 45L.I would prefer not to check a bag. Do you see it possible to bring both of these type of bags on board?
ОтветитьWe, too, are world travelers and only do carryon...only check a bag when we're on the way home.
ОтветитьIf you are flying economy you are allowed one carryon only and a personal bag like a purse
ОтветитьHow do I set up a pattaya trip to stay locally and also do a Vietnam trip. Hoping to be in Pattaya in November and returning to nyc first week of January. First traveling extensively. Any and all suggestions appreciated. Great tips and video by the way. Loved it.
ОтветитьThank you for all the wonderful suggestions. I will be traveling to Europe this year but I'm going to be using a hiker's backpack because hiking is a possibility somewhere during my travels & it's the appropriate size.
ОтветитьThis is international Jazz recording artist & TV producer Shaun LaBelle...you guys totally rock. I'm heading for Saigon tomorrow. Really dig your videos. Would have been fun to meet but I think you guys already left there. Love your videos!
ОтветитьFabulous video! I’m returning to full time travel this summer and am doing carryons. I’m going to buy the bags you use. Thank you!
ОтветитьI am going to Bali for 4 weeks what clothing would you pack and how many of each thanks are help would be appreciated xx
ОтветитьWe travel with Air Transat whenever we can - we love that airline! Their carryon size is 20 inches! I tried so many times to go carryon with them but never succeeded 😊
ОтветитьI just can’t do it ! I need clothes , shoes and stuff ! I’m not even close to minimalism . I’m a Texan ! Everything is bigger in Texas . I’m going to London in May and I’m already preparing what I’m gonna wear and buy out there . Cheers to you , Claudia . Austin Texas .
ОтветитьI’m really trying to master this lol lol lol, but no offense those items too basic. I LOVE playing dress up 😬 Back in September I cruised MSC 7-days excited about their crystal staircase. I had an outfit for all 7-days 😂😂😂 (duffel bag & backpack). In January, I backed-packed my last 3-day getaway and was so unsatisfied 🤦🏾♀️ 😂🤣Normally, I’ll take more than what I need and be weighed down 🤷🏽♀️ I used to roll items and find places to stuff (like within a hat). I found freezer bags help with space. Ex. Put one outfit, including underwear in bag. ZIP halfway. Sit on bag. Zip bag completely. The air has now been removed from the bag allowing for more room. Now as far as the shoes, I used to carry a separate bag (shoes only); however, not always doable. I solved that obsession by designing my own shoe 😂 I went out on last trip with only 2-pair and this is where satisfied. Lol lol lol But good stuff 👏🏾
ОтветитьGood tips, thanks. I never check a bag. It saves time, money and wear and tear on my suitcase. I have a soft sided carryon for clothing. I prefer the soft bag because it's more flexible in tight areas and there's always room to squeeze in another item, especially if I buy a T-shirt or two. I also use a Samsonite duffle bag for toiletries, accessories, and one pair of sandals. It fits nicely under the seat and on top of my roller carryon when racing through the airport!! I wear a fleece hoodie when flying to save a lot of packing space. It's usually cool on the plane, so it works well. I also wear my sneakers for the same reason. I don't roll or use packing cubes because I feel that's wasted space and added weight. I lay out clothing flat to use the entire interior space of my suitcase and fold over if needed. So, a T-shirt would be flat and maybe folded once with sleeves folded over. Flat items don't have the bulk or air/space in the folds or rolls. I put flat socks and underwear in the sides and spaces left at any folded parts. Also, I do coordinate tops and bottoms and, most importantly, I wear some things more than once. This helps to avoid overpacking and I can wear a souvenir T-shirt. Nobody is keeping track and I don't care if someone does. I surprise myself every time!!
ОтветитьGreat video. The backpacks are large.
Can you fit those backpacks under the front seat? Have you had any trouble being allowed to enter the cabin with them?
Thanks.
Hello thanks for your advices!
ОтветитьGreat video, my first husband worked for the airlines and we traveled standby always with just a carryon. My most recent trip was to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago and I traveled with backpack and came back with less then I went (lost weight donated clothes) it is so freeing. Question you mentioned a few things you got off of Amazon, since you travel full time how do you get Amazon on your travel, do you use a vpn and use the country Amazon? thanks!
ОтветитьVery useful video thank you ❤
