- The Last of Us Part I on PS5 has radically changed its visual section. Textures, lighting and scenarios reimagined, in addition to improved animations and AI.
- The models of some characters and other assets have been reused from The Last of Us Part II.
- The Last of Us Part I recreates reflections using SSR, cubemaps or planar reflections. There is no presence of any kind of Ray-Tracing in this remake.
- The most radical changes are in textures, geometry and lighting.
- Improved AI and animations make combat a more satisfying, but conservative experience. Most of the features added in Part II (dodging, crawling, etc) are not present.
- I'm preparing another comparison that compares in depth all aspects of the remake with respect to the original game.
- Fidelity mode adds considerable input lag. On the other hand, the vsync causes the game to not feel fluid at all (exactly like Demon's Souls Remake). I recommend the 1440p/60fps mode.
- With a 120Hz TV, the Fidelity mode locks its framerate down to 40fps. This mode has some irregularities in its performance.
- If you have a VRR-compatible display, we can activate it in Performance mode to get a variable rate ranging from 60 to 90fps.
- Loading times are slower on PS5 compared to PS4, but reasonable considering the visual improvements. In any case, these load times are much faster than on PS3.
- As a curiosity and personal opinion, I do not usually use the Dualsense adaptive triggers, but in this game its application seemed to me quite successful.
- Absence of Multiplayer. Let's hope that The Last of Us Factions justifies this lack. On the other hand, new difficulty modes have been added and some gameplay modifiers that will be analyzed in another video.
- Considering that on a visual level it is on par with The Last of Us Part II, this remake could have been possible on PS4.
- The Last of Us Part I is a remake that meets the minimum quality standards you would expect from Naughty Dog. Revisiting the original game's locations with the new visuals and more polished gameplay has been very rewarding.

- The Last of Us Part I en PS5 ha cambiado radicalmente su apartado visual. Texturas, iluminación y escenarios reimaginados, además de animaciones e IA mejoradas.
- Los modelos de algunos personajes y otros assets han sido reutilizados de The Last of Us Part II.
- The Last of Us Part I recrea los reflejos mediante SSR, cubemaps o planar reflections. No hay presencia de ningún tipo de Ray-Tracing en este remake.
- Los cambios más radicales están en las texturas, geometría e iluminación.
- La IA y animaciones mejoradas convierten el combate en una experiencia más satisfactoria, pero conservadora. La mayoría de características añadidas en Part II (esquivar, reptar, etc) no están presentes.
- Estoy preparando otra comparativa que compara en profundidad todos los aspectos del remake con respecto al juego original.
- El modo Fidelidad añade un input lag considerable. Por otro lado, el vsync provoca que el juego no se sienta nada fluido (exactamente igual que Demon's Souls Remake). Recomiendo el modo 1440p/60fps.

- Como curiosidad y opinión personal, no suelo usar los gatillos adaptativos del Dualsense, pero en este juego su aplicación me ha parecido bastante acertada.
- Ausencia del Multijugador. Esperemos que The Last of Us Factions justifique esta carencia. Por otro lado, se han añadido nuevos modos de dificultad y algunos modificadores de juego que serán analizados en otro video.
- Teniendo en cuenta que a nivel visual está a la par con The Last of Us Part II, este remake podría haber sido posible en PS4.
- The Last of Us Part I es un remake que cumple con los mínimos de calidad que se esperaría de Naughty Dog. Revisitar las localizaciones del juego original con el nuevo apartado visual y el gameplay más pulido ha sido muy gratificante.

I got lucky and snatched this game for $30 when I bought my PS5 in December and $20 for Ratchet n Clank. Prob the best quality game I’ve ever bought for that price.

Going to replay this masterpiece as soon as the price drops to a more reasonable price for a remake

I never had a PS3 when the PS3 was a thing, but I did have an XBOX 360, and I can just imagine how impressed people were with the graphics. Because back then, we stumbled across Forza Horizon 2, and I thought "Man, how could graphics be any better than this?" That thought aged like fine wine almost a decade later. Now I have both a PS5 and an Xbox Series S, and still to this day, with newer games coming out, I just look back and think to my past self "You got no idea man"

I used to own it both physically and digitally on ps3 and I can confirm it takes 14 seconds (with a stock ps3 hdd) to load it digitally crazy how times changed

The last of us 1 graphics werent as good as a lot of other 2013 games like Crysis 3,bf4, and gta 5. And crysis 1 with its dense jungles makes Last of Us 1 look bad.
