I had a computer with 2 gigs of ram and it could not even run steam properly. The text wouldn't even load so you're just stuck in the installation menu. This was back in I would say 2013

bruhh 1 have 2 gb ram and have worst fps in every game , Fortunately i can play minecraft but with 10-20 fps
In CSGO i gave 3-10 fps
but in CSS i have stable 30-60 fps

I remember my first PC that I built from scratch AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 1GB Ram with ATi Radeon x700 then upgraded to GeForce 8600GT very good times and slot of fun games unlike this generation

I used 4gb for a few days till my 32gb went in service for the rgb. Even with 4gb it was terrible in windows(ps i have 3 monitors)

Suggestion:-
Try 1 GB Ram with Windows XP or the OG Windows 98 SE
Perhaps maybe use virtualbox to install those OS and restrict RAM to 1 GB.

am watching this with a 2 gb ram laptop with windows 10 64bits modified as the windows is modified only the system consumes less than 500 mb ram and everything goes smoothly maximum only 3 open processes oh more it depends but with God through this month I'm going to buy a gamer and I'm going to use this one to download the games

Try it with 1 gb gpu so the cpu is forced to shuffle textures between system memory and the gpu every frame
