Not in the true BMW spirit, agreed. But if you cannot get your family into a sporty coupe model, what you gonna do? Remember, this is an MPV with BMW build quality that does 0-62 mph in 7.6 seconds and can reach 139 mph. Not a bad compromise. Shame it is front wheel drive, though. And that rusty orange color is disgusting. Yes, I want an M2 competition or an M3, but a) I can't afford one, and b) my wife and kids would kill me. It's about compromise. I test drove one and it goes, handles, and feels (from the inside) like a BMW. If my choices are VW, Citroen, Audi, Nissan, MPV's, OR a BMW MPV, I'm gonna go for the Beemer every time.

Ugly, probably slow, but not as bad as the x6 or the iNext

Why are everyone complaining about this car? If you feel like BMW has lost its "passion" your just an idiot. This car is ment for people who previously didn't care to much for BMW. My mom never considered buying a BMW until i convinced her to buy this one, and let me tell you, i really like it. Its much nicer to be a passenger in this then my dads 5 series
