Hi Gemma, what a lovely plot visit, likely to be jackdaws, they have been pulling out my shallots, they play around with things then give up. Guess what the flood water did on my plot? It brought and managed to sow a couple of packs of farmer gracy tulips bulbs in my raspberry bed 😂 I have no idea who they belong to the floods did ruin a few sheds!

It’s so nice to see some sunshine finally, we had a wee bit today but still only 8c here. Do you have to wait for warmer temps though to use nematodes? Well I must say you certainly packed in a load of jobs 💪💪. Have a super week and glad to say happy gardening 👩‍🌾l Ali 🌦️🇨🇦

Love your energy! I suggest you don't hold seedlings by the stem. Also you don't need such deep pots for microgreens, seed trays will do. And were the holes in your watering can rose big enough? Sorry to sound so boring! It's really great what you are doing, and always so cheerful👍

How about using a box cutter around the perimeter of the inside of the bed and down the length and just pulling it up in pieces? It might be easier to manage.

Nice update. Sometimes it's all about ticking off the little jobs.
I do the same thing with my old seed. I like using hemp mats for micro greens if you can find any they are great.

Hi Gem 🤗
Asparagus fab, need to buy some but will need to sneak it on the allotment as Doug has done a plan 😂 Slugs a pain need to get nematodes myself. Plastic is a nuisance but satisfying to remove it. Is the juice worth the squeeze! Never heard that one 😂😂😂
Micro greens is a good idea to use up seeds rather than just sit in their packets 👍
You were good only buying compost at the garden centre 👍😂
Fan video Gem ❤

I've never seen anyone do the ridge thing when planting asparagus. We are making an asparagus bed this year, gonna use that!

So weird those beans! Lovely, more asparagus, great plan! Plastic in plots, such a problem! You have just reminded me that I need to plant my Jerusalem artichokes! We are going to try them this year. Such a good way to use unwanted seeds as microgreens! I really like that! Hope the nematodes work for you! Lovely big greenhouse! 😄👍💕🌸

Gemma be sure to cut away that plastic under that bed you will have big problems with Drainage
Putting on more compost will only add to the problem

Hiya….can I ask what compost you used for the peppers etc & if you used grow lights at all? Mine are still really stunted but I’m experimenting with compost varieties. I was gifted 6 crowns this year from someone who gave up their plot & hoping to buy 6 more … can’t wait to get growing in my new tunnel. We are putting it up at the moment, it’s huge 😂

Great video Gemma, you have been very productive getting the jobs done. Liked the micro greens idea may give it a go myself, as my seed collection as a haud off free seeds you get with the gardening magazines. I will never sow them. Thank you for sharing. 🐞🌻🌱

You’be been so busy! How weird for the beans to all be left in the same place too. Most odd! Asparagus bed is a great addition and the tunnel is looking well stocked. Everything’s grown loads since the last update in there.

That plastic. That’s a job for Vince. 😭😭

With the plastic in the beds, could you maybe use a stanley and cut around the edges of the inside of the bed and peel up the plastic that is just wiithin the bed itself? that way you wont have to dig up the pathways etc.
