Doesn't sound like good changes.. Concerning stuff. I've always had the theory that someday they would increase that supply cap many years from now to reward miners, possibly implementing PoW and PoS like Sol to cut energy costs or something too as mining becomes less profitable.

In a world where nobody drives, people wont understand the value of having a 100 MPG car vs a 1 MPG car. Imagine having a 1 MPG car (BTC) and here comes a 100 MPG car (BCH). They are identical in make/model/color almost down to the atom... the ONLY difference being that BCH is 100 MPG, and BTC is 1 MPG. Well, it seems that nobody drives, so they like to keep their BTC in the garage and call BCH a "shit car". But when driving becomes necessary, people will want to save on gas, regardless if the car is given a bunch of derogatory names.

The top priority of any crypto currency project is easy access to purchase and sell and low fees per transaction. The BTC network needs to drop transaction fees by a factor of 4 and have a standard process to continue dropping fees as the valuation to fiat currency increases. The development for wallet and storage must continue to progress and decentralized exchange of coins along with various financing methods that is connected to fiat currency must be addressed. The current network for all blockchains is not affordable yet for the average public user.

The removal the the op return limits is NOT a nothing burger. Bitcoin needs to remain as decentralized as possible. Bitcoin needs more nodes not less. If node operators are forced to hold spam/ garbage it’s a huge disincentive for smaller operators to continue. KBD keep bitcoin decentralized
