I had similar things for Hall Passes, except a plunger. In middle school, in a math class, if we wanted to borrow calculators, we had to remove a shoe to borrow it, so we had to give it back before the end of class. I mean if works, but honestly she should have made it that we have to give it back before the bell rang, like a role call for the calculators, that way she’d looks less odd; like makes her look like she had a foot fetish or sock fetish. We were like in 6/7 grade I think, so we weren’t that old.
ОтветитьOMG, I want a black kitty!😊💕
ОтветитьPlanning to watch this and Pop Star back to back for a mid-2000s watch party.
Ответитьthe line "don't worry officer clyde, this is where i wake up" was actually really well done. I seriously wish that was the ending.
ОтветитьFinal words of sarcastic man stabbed to death:
"What you going to do? Stab me?"
The anatomical postion of the human heart..the most important chemistry lesson a high schooler should learn!
ОтветитьI love these movie reviews with you and Chad
Ответитьfor some reason this movie randomly popped into my head so i just had to spend half an hour trying to remember who made a video on this 3 years ago, thank you ian
ОтветитьI love Chads reaction of “NO YEAH” in a super growly voice. Cracks me up every time
ОтветитьMy middle school hall pass for one of my classes was a huge block of wood with a chain at the end of it
Ответитьhow long u 2 been dating?
ОтветитьPlease do the killjoy sequels
ОтветитьOmg I remember this movie from Walmart
ОтветитьThey were just talking about the dog in sunglasses in the 1980's Summer School movie but all I can think about is the name Carl Reiner on the box. I am a fan of a lot of older comedies and The Dick Van Dyke Show has been a long time favorite which he produced, wrote and often guest starred in. For those not into older shows, he was in a lot of newer stuff too like Toy Story 4 which was one of the last things he worked on before he died.
Ответитьlike Minneapolis is a weird name but seat tle isnt
ОтветитьYAW ƎИO
ОтветитьThe spider-ape designs in the credits were really good. The monsters in film looked like what you would see in a really old cheap-o movie. But the sketch looked like what you would find in a really stylish horror comic. There's lots of detail put into its shading and fur. I wanna know who drew them; really well done!
ОтветитьI hope they do all the movies on that DVD collection
ОтветитьI honestly thought charlie's actor was Brandon Tenold, there are a number of scenes I was convinced it was Brandon lol
ОтветитьThat was a really cute project. And watching it in the 2006 mustve been fun. Would be pretty amazing for a first/second movie. If they had thought it more, I'm pretty sure it would've been way more cool. the credits animated segment is pretty awesome too.
Ответитьthe “hillbilly horror” still seems to me like a texas chainsaw massacre type thing every time i come back to this video
ОтветитьFor me at least, I don't think Chad needs to be part of these reviews. I'm entertained with just ian and his commentary
ОтветитьHoly shit that credit looks cool as shit like that had no reason to look as cool as it was i just wanna see the full credits because of the animation
Ответитьoh sweet gods, she's meant to be a student...
Ответитьok so it just occured to me that gen z's version of hellish torment woukd be being forced to live through longform content iver and over again ..
Ответить"Shoulda paid more attention in chemistry the heart is located over here..." lol you mean biology vampire dude
ОтветитьI gotta check this one out.
I know it was supposed to be a horror, but it looks so funny
Hot Topic pants: You should have paid more attention in Chemistry. The heart... is over here."
Me: ... Don't you mean anatomy?
I thought the main guy was always eating tic-tacs because he wanted to have fresh breath to kiss Lindsey McGuire Spears
The horror movie An American Werewolf in London has a dream within a dream sequence so maybe it was an homage to that?
I cant believe Charlie got Regina George'd
Edit: after seeing the college student comments, i'm actually now wondering if this was done pre-columbine maybe? i can't imagine post-columbine kids of any age saying the school shooting was their favourite you know? maybe yall said the year and i dont remember it, but that would be wild to me if it was post-columbine.
Edit 2: jesus 2006. so it was post columbine. that blows my mind honestly. year before virginia tech.
I hate movies with "twisted fucking cycle path" energy
ОтветитьPlease do summer school I would love to see you two cover that one
ОтветитьHick scene is an insight into what hollywood fears the most people from the south, they know nothing about us or how we really sound they just demonized them
ОтветитьThe hillbilly segment was 100% just a bunch of edgy college guys thinking Deliverance is a good film worth imitating.
ОтветитьThis doesn't look like the 1987 comedy starring Mark Harmon and Richard Horvitz!?
ОтветитьOkay I looked it up… apparently a lot of these people are actually still acting and working in film. As recently as 2023. I mean, we all start somewhere I guess.
ОтветитьI feel like he woke up again after the credits.
ОтветитьTicTac and altoid popping was a thing
ОтветитьI think it would have been a better ending if Charlie was actually trapped in summer school. I feel like there was a way they could have implied that he's actually trapped in the school for the rest of his life, and he'll continue waking up in a different nightmare until time ends.
ОтветитьOne of our hall passes was a stapler. Or whatever the teacher said. He was chill af.
ОтветитьSo can you say hydra or nah?
ОтветитьI think the Tic-Tacs thing is supposed to imply his crush on Lindsey Spears. If he’s popping mint Tic-Tacs, he’s probably trying to keep his breath fresh around her.
Ответитьi think i know how to nake the ending work...
he gets out of the schoool, exultant. and the experience gives him the guts to text lindsey mcguire-spears... and then as he's going backwards we see the car in the background but the driver is bent sidewsys... we see the death coming...
and then lindsey gets out the car, clutching her phone... because the text took her eyes off the road... his second lease of life is what killed him...
