@brainsareus Exactly. Not sure how many people know this, but Fred was actually part of the Blue Man Group before moving on to SNL. Makes this video all the more funny.

I worked with his drum video literally for a few HOURS and I came away with the confidence of YES I CAN! I kid you not guys, this july I got the gig for 4 months of road tour with STING! I did! I just need to inform Sting that I got the gig with him and he'll need to make the necessary arrangements and so on...

Buddy Rich was WAAAAY better than this joker, and his kit consisted of 1 bass, 1 snare, 3 toms, 1 ride cymbal and 1 other cymbal. I had the privilege of seeing Buddy perform in the early 80's. Amazing! He did 30 minutes on one drum, and had the audience in the palm of his hand. His band, Killer Force, was also amazing! Buddy would call out a number, and the lead sax would play from memory! Lots of toys and extra bits won't give you rhythm. You either have it or you don't.
