ОтветитьDwarf car?
ОтветитьAt $20k I'm still too poor to live the dream lmao.
ОтветитьI know Jay is always positive but these cars are NOT cheap racing. The cheap racing is LuckyDog, Lemons, Champcar Endurance racing. However, if you want to "win" you can spend more. There is also spec miata racing. It is important to note these Legend cars are "open wheel" although they look like full body, notice the wheels stick out, so there is no 'rubbing is racing' because rubbing will cause spinouts/accidents. These races are always very exciting to watch because the cars are way overpowered and traction limited, so they are always on the edge if you want to win, and there is always lead changes and passing going on.
ОтветитьMe and Jay both had the same reaction when he said street legal , and then followed up with the same question 💀💀
ОтветитьHow different are dwarf cars from these?
ОтветитьLook like hilarious fun
ОтветитьAs aerodynamic as a wardrobe
ОтветитьI thought they ran Yamaha FJ1200 engines in those for a while.
ОтветитьDo these turn right and left?
ОтветитьYou look great Jay. Glad to see you're keeping busy. Great car.
Ответитьwhy cant these be street legal? that would be a blast on public roads
ОтветитьWow that was cool
ОтветитьThey shut down parts of my countrys capital (europe) for a grand prix with many different kinds of cars, and they had races with these things too. They were easily the most exciting races out of everything, they were intense, fast paced and could actually overtake anywhere on the track basically. Super cool little kit cars.
Ответитьcar looked interesting so i clicked. but the 4cyl thing is a turn off for me. some car 4cyl are alright i guess but the bike motors just dont make the same kinds of power and im not a huge fan of the sound.
one of these with a v6 could be a blast and still really be a hot rod.
but then again a little supercharger on one of these would add some torque to that bike motor and pry make it an absolute blast to drive.
I love this category.
Above all the models that I like the most, are the 37' coupes, because they were the ones that competed in the Turismo Carretera, the most popular category in Argentina, for many years from 1937, until 3 decades later, the entry of compact cars like the Ford Falcon, the Chevrolet Nova II (nicknamed the "Chevitu") driven by Jorge Cupeiro, and the Argentinean national icon, the Ika Torino (Ika: Industrias Kaiser Argentina or Argentinian Kaiser Industry in english).
The most memorable race was the legendary Buenos Aires-Caracas, also known as the Grand Prix of South America. It was held in November 1948 and consisted of 14 stages. The winner of the race, Domingo Marimon, aboard a Chevrolet Coupe.
The old Coupe cars, which we call Cupecitas, are very fondly remembered in my country, so I think a legend car would be great here in Argentina. Especially if they could paint them the same as the old TC coupes.
On the iracing is fun to drive I bet in real life it's a joy to race
ОтветитьAs someone from the northeast it was cheaper for me to by a late model
Ответитьcan it have an automatic or all the legend cars have to be 4 speed?
ОтветитьIt doesn't have to have been a car to vin it...come on Jay, you're better than that! Especially when they are a vehicle manufacturer. They're really no different than Panoz
ОтветитьThere's one of these by my house I always wondered what it raced I want it so bad much much more now especially with Yamaha an my favorite driver jolo (joeylagano) the best products kome from Ford Mercedes and Yamaha
ОтветитьHe had me at ten then says it’s price was 18 all of a sudden he lost me 😂. Still cool car thou. Thanks jay
ОтветитьCan't drive it on the street... Later drives tank car on the street.
ОтветитьGood to see you doing well Jay. Hopefully you'll get in one of those midget Yamaha racers and take a few laps soon.
ОтветитьJay could handle it! No "RED RED RED"! That announcer has the right NASCAR twang yelling "RED RED RED!". Looks like fun. Maybe I'd want a kevlar bubble wrap suit. 2 layers of bubbles.
ОтветитьJohn Leguizamo was a great host on The Daily Show. Hopefully in between racing he fills in for whoever gets the gig. 900cc is same sized motor as Fiat 850 Spider. I think these are quite a lot faster (wink wink). I believe that Fiat was 72 horsepower (hopped up!)
ОтветитьJust went to the website I'm buying one in a couple months they look and sound amazing
ОтветитьThis is a amazing idea so original and unique great concept 👍
ОтветитьJG IM THE RACER WHO RACES THAT SAME CAR 50YR AGO
ОтветитьAbsolutely.
ОтветитьLegend Cars are so fun to watch
ОтветитьGreat spokesperson. His grandfather would/must be proud
ОтветитьThe racing video was stupid, made it look like a demo derby. In reality the races are very competitive but usually clean, significant contact is rare...
Ответитьthe best to watch in person
Ответитьmore women, cool.
ОтветитьHey Jay they also do what they call a baby grand real similar to the lettuce but it looks more like a NASCAR car it's called a baby green you got to do a segment on them
ОтветитьThey reminded me of the Nasa NP01 prototype models
ОтветитьYou can actually get these registered to be street legal and it would be so damn fun
ОтветитьWatched from Jamaica. Fell in love with them the first time I reed aout them in auto magazines bac in the days. They even came to Jamaica and raced but I don't know why the sport never catch up in my country. Motor racing is a rich man sport in this island and I'm not rich..
ОтветитьI like thankcar
ОтветитьThank car
ОтветитьJay lay no
Ответитьชอบตั้งแต่แกรนด์ทัวริสโม
ОтветитьAre there any street-legal versions? Or is that possible?
ОтветитьHey Jay
Are you asking everybody to contact you by "Whatspp me" ? And saying, "I'll coach you on somewhat strateg!es"
Sounds like a bunch of mad bees!!!!
ОтветитьI’ve been looking at buying a supercharged jet skis and Polaris ace buddies for a while. This is good way to get into racing. I wonder if they have a league in New Hampshire.
ОтветитьWhat a great video Jay. I also grew up going to oval dirt track races (with full size cars) with my dad, but this is sooo cool! It makes me want to race in a Legend, but at 73 I'm still more of a motorcycle guy and I think I'd rather go 115 on a cross country road trip than trading rubber and paint with some kid who wants to be a pro some day. And who am I to stand in his way anyway? 😂
