RIP Michael Jayston.
ОтветитьRip Michael Jayston
ОтветитьRIP Michael Jayston, he owned this season. Shame he never came back on screen but his BIG Finish work was great.
ОтветитьThe valeyard...he who waits and certainly enough to make a celestial toymaker run away in terror
ОтветитьHe would have made a good PM. Sixth Doctor for PM.
ОтветитьI just know 6 is rolling up to the protest
ОтветитьWhat! As if nobody knew
Ответить“Unseemly outbursts?” The doctor said calmly
ОтветитьWhat I would give for the original season 23, more Colin Baker and to keep this season for later on in his tenure.....
ОтветитьTwelfth and Final? Well, we've had 3 so far so 16?
ОтветитьColin was so great he just got the shittiest episodes
Ответить"The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darker sides of your nature somewhere between your TWELTH and FINAL incarnation."
-The Master, from the trial of the timelord.
The 13th, 14th, and 15th doctor were all a mistake.
They broke the rules of regeneration!
RTD HAS to bring him back!
“The remainder of the Doctor’s regenerations” Well that canon got quickly thrown out the TARDIS
ОтветитьSpoilers: Given the split in the latest special my head cannon is that The Valeyard happens down the line in 14’s side of the split.
Perhaps 14 adopts Matt Smith’s face down the line and then regenerates into The Valeyard (played by Capaldi!) and when The Valeyard fails regenerates into the Curator.
Such a big foreshadow of the timelords’ goal in the time war
Ответитьpeople can say doctor who is dead all they want. but this doctor always prooves to me that, the show will go on, and people will always continue to either enjoy it or dislike it. but it won't stop. its a never ending story.
ОтветитьBetween the 12th and the last huh? Bout time I'd say
ОтветитьMan... still relevant. I feel this way about my government as they harp on about Korean spy satellites while funding the most horrific atrocities performed in my lifetime
ОтветитьThe Master would just casually slip in a massive revelation like that.
ОтветитьI feel like Colin Baker was starting to come into his own as the Doctor here but it unfortunately got cut short
ОтветитьMaybe the timeless children could explain the Valeyard.
ОтветитьAlways felt like Colin Baker did his absolute best during his whole run and the real villains of the piece were Michael Grade and John Nathan Turner's egos! Insisting on that lunatic costume for example. Why?
ОтветитьEven my least favorite Doctor had a damn good performance. This show is so good on so many levels.
ОтветитьThis was the best moment of Colon’s tenure as Six
ОтветитьHe sounds like Peter Hamill from Van Der Graaf Generator.
ОтветитьHow Colin really felt sbout JNT and the BBC at that time.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest scenes in Doctor Who.
ОтветитьAnd sadly the doctor was the first real time lord he gave them there ability witch is lame and fs matt smith but ok..
Ответить"The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darkest sides of your nature, somewhere between your twelfth and final incarnation."
By the word "regeneration," that would be Tennant II (after being shot by the Dalek) and Smith. But he said "incarnation." Counting each sequential Doctor by physical parameters, factoring the word "final" in, and considering Smith's entire arc - that's the dark side of Smith alone. Even without Tennant's power-crazed penultimate story, "The Waters of Mars," that's a LOT of darkness to draw from. "Eleven" could frequently be downright terrifying, and let's not forget the Dream Lord.
It is too bad we never saw more of the Valeyard in the Doctor Who episodes which followed.
ОтветитьIsn't it 'funny', much later we meet the Timelord Victorious, the Doctor regenerates, later on. Until one... bad day, has to hunt for a beloved companion... being a good man going to war...
The Valeyard is there... somewhere, somewhen...
Some terrible acting here
ОтветитьDoctor who went so downhill after Matt Smith. He was the last good doctor. A lot of the original doctors aswel, right doctors at the wrong time.
ОтветитьBoy, Matt just isnt looking like himself.
Ответитьcolin bakers "WHAT" is everything, perfectly summarises everyone's feelings about the utter chaos that is having the same person be prosecutor and defender.
ОтветитьHere is my version of Doctor Who Trial of a Time Lord:
The Mysterious Planet: Sixth Doctor and Adric, Nyssa and Tegan, Peri and Sabalom Glitz, Dibber
Mindwarp: Sixth Doctor and Adric, Nyssa and Tegan, Peri
Terror of the Vervoids; Sixth Doctor and Adric, Mel Bush
The Ultimate Foe: Sixth Doctor and Adric, Nyssa and Tegan, Peri and Mel Bush
The beginning part of this scene is probably one of the best speeches colin baker ever gave as the 6th doctor.
Ответить"You do not improve with age", ain't that the truth, especially after Capaldi's tenure.
Ответить"COME ALONG GLITZ"
"MUHH KHEEEE"
Terrible outfit aside I think Colin Baker was a great actor in the role, especially scenes like this. He was way better than Jodie Whittaker anyway.
Ответить"Somewhere between your twelth and final incarnation." that would be during the regeneration in The End Of Time pt2, then. Perhaps a by-product of the Time Lord Victorious.
ОтветитьVery underrated scene here as the Doctor basically calls the high council out for their own blinding hubris and hypocrisy. The 6th doctor deserves a better reputation than he receives imo, sure he has a lot of unfulfilling stories, but he also has great ones such as attack of the Cybermen and Revelation of the Daleks. Xx
ОтветитьPeople who say Colin's Doctor never had good moments, show them this scene, probably his best scene as the Doctor
ОтветитьwHy WoUlD tHeY lIe, WhY wOuLd ThEy Do ThAt
ОтветитьColin Baker truly had potential. It's just the unfair circumstances against him were impossible to overcome. This performance proves the potential he had
ОтветитьColin Baker deserved so much more than what he got
ОтветитьHe who fights dragons too long becomes one himself... How long has the Doctor been fighting evil?!?
ОтветитьThe master is such a character just drops crucial information without a care and incites chaos
Ответить
