I stand with Grant. Digimon adventure 1 & 2 are awesome. I still enjoy the stories as an adult. Pokemon is a really good game but the anime is..... incredibly numbing. I do like some stories and characters but man.... the lack of gravity in actions and the constant formulated episode structure is really boring after a while as an adult. As a kid I enjoyed it just fine, since I just wanted to see more cool monster designs. But Digimon... that series left marks to my kid heart, that never went away. I even watched Digimon Taimers religiously in middle school, though it wasn't quite as good as Digimon Adventure.

Sure, both are obviously made for children, but they aren't equal in their storytelling and plot even when compared as childrens shows.

No comments on the movies I never got to see either a digimon or a pokemon movie.

Eromanga Sensei was trash from beginning to end, and never pretended to be anything else. As a result, as long as you didn't try to take it seriously, it was a fun watch.

For me, I grew up watching fairy tail with my older sisters and yu-gi-oh, so I only started watching naruto like 3 years ago and I can’t get into it I keep dropping it at season 6. I did just start watching full metal alchemist though, I’m liking so far

I agree with garnt, digimon is 100% better than pokemon. I like pokemon but I like digimon more.
Imo pokemon is a 6/10 and digimon is a 8/10.

Ergo Proxy missed the chance of having a brand of breakfast cereal called Raisin d'Étre (that's not on me, my wife came up with that one!).

Another is scary in the 1st half, when things are eerie and mysterious. That doll shop is totally scary. But it's like reading a Lovecraft story: it's the mood that counts.

I'd like to know how many series Joey has finished. My MAL is currently at 1,019 anime series/movies, but then again, I'm 59 and I've been watching anime since I was a teen.
