Ответитьthx i culdnt walk so long thx you so much
ОтветитьThis is entirely 100% wrong and walking like this will lead to knee, hip, and lower back pain.
You do not walk on your heel. Walking on your heel means you have zero balance, zero cushion for the impact of your foot, disengaged the knee and the glutes.
You should be landing on the front of the foot, with knees slightly bent. This engages the ankle, the knee, and the glutes, softens impact, and increases balance.
Don't believe me, that's fine, but try to balance on your heels, then try to balance on your forefoot and tell me which is easier. Walk barefoot on a hard surface and try landing on your heel vs your forefoot and tell me it doesn't hurt after a few minutes. You don't land on your heel going up stairs, you don't land on your heel when you run, you just don't ever naturally land on your heel.
Not to mention, gait is not how you stand, it's how you walk...
Man I'm confused I just saw a video that said the opposite to land with the ball of your feet and here they say with the heel

ОтветитьThanks guys, this is really clarifying! A question: Can you tell how that affects the calves? I was in Vancouver a couple of years ago, working right next to the historic clock. Next time will pay a visit!
Ответитьso start with outside of heel and as you begin to stride with same foot should you try to strid throughoutside of foot to last metatarsal and then finish the stride with same foot by pronating to big toe and push off
ОтветитьHow do you walk normal if you walk like a girl
Ответитьi have heard this can help prevent ankle sprains?
ОтветитьAwesome, thank you
ОтветитьMy feet fully twist to the sides outward one of them is like that because of a car crash the other is like that probably to balance out the other foot either way I’m finding really fucking hard to keep my feet properly postured and idk if it’s permanent but it has been a good 5 years since that event so idk why my feet are still like this
ОтветитьWait how do you walk again?
