Just stumbled on this. D.C. could go the anti-Marvel way with movies and focus some solo's on guys like Luthor the way they did Joker. Make the bad guys ... a threat. Something marvel kinda sucks at.

DCAU Lex is easily my favorite just because of how chilling I would find him at times.

When Supes killed him in the Justice Lords dimension, it reminded me when Homelander killed the US President because Lex was President at that time lol.

In my opinion DC has great villains compared to marvel I mean they’re written so well you love them❤️

As always, his original story is exactly what the J=== were doing. Quite interesting given history. Also, they want to get rid of fully haired white men who are A types, heroising B types to the demise of our people.

One of the best ideas DC ever had going into the modern age was the reimagining of Luthor as a highly intelligent and extremely corrupt business tycoon fueled by egomania. It made him a more two dimensional character and allowed for DC to take him in a myriad of different unexpected directions (clone Lex, the Contessa, Lena, President Luthor, Superboy, etc.) there just seemed to be a lot more they could do with Lex as a character as opposed to his Silver and Bronze Age incarnation which didn’t really give him a whole lot of depth aside from his backstory and the Lexor era

Lex Luthor is one of the best villains in fiction.

I always wonder if Lex was to find out he's a meta, if he would hate that or further his beliefs that humans don't need superman

Lex Luthor creating weapons of mass destruction and selling his weapons to criminal organizations would be an amazing setup for Lex in movies,InterGang would be his secret criminal organization by having him ship LexCorp properties by sending them to multiple countries.This would allow Lex to stay under any suspicion and allow him to continue this secret business,SuperMan first crime stopped would be InterGang in Man Of Steel and the weapons being shipped being Lex Corporation property.The secret ending of Man Of Steel would be Lex Luthor astonished with SuperMan and referencing him as a God Among Mankind.Brainiac would also be astonished with him hacking LexCorp systems to deliver a message to Lex Luthor in code telling Lex of Kryptonite and Red Solar Energy being weaknesses of SuperMan.Metallo would be the first of Lex's creations combining machinery,kryptonite,and human flesh to create the ultimate match for SuperMan,Metallo.Parasite would be the second being an experiment of Lex gone wrong and causing Rudy Jones to transform into a powerful pink creature known for causing his human victims to be completely deprived of their energy.LiveWire would be the third with him offering Leslie Willis an opportunity for ultimate power and her losing family in the battle between Superman and General Zod leading to the creation of LiveWire.ToyMan could be the opening villain for the movie with him trying to destroy SuperMan with his deadly toy gadgets and Superman easily overcoming them and leading to him being easily apprehended by Superman.

No one can play Lex Luthor like Clancy Brown can it's like you hear his voice you hear Lex Luthor like Mark Hamill voicing the Joker.

I love his origin story from smallville. We had such hope for him and kept that hope similar to Clark

David Goggins is going to take over as Lex Luthor. I think that’s epic!
