I tried Assassin's Creed: Odyssey again…

Underrated 😂 The game is lame as hell. Kassandra is cool, though

Phiobe tells you about the plague on kephalonia, but I totally forgot about my choice, because I did it 2 years ago and only now I am trying to finish this game.

Love how they tried to say that the female was the main character but, the NPC dialogue is geared toward a male protagonist. Don't often heaar people calling women bastards.

I agree. This is my favourite ac game in recent history. Far better than Valhalla. Valhalla was so boring and long. Odyssey was so well written, really funny/witty and the exploration that 10/10

I just bought this game for 10 bucks used at gamestop, wait sorry 12 dollars. After seeing these reviews, I am really pretty excited to play this.

Just got into the AC games and started with this one, so far Im having a blast.

You can go and slaughter a town and then become the hero of the town😂. It has some good bits but it’s because of other games XD. Then looking back at this game from a story point of view literally makes no sense at all because why didn’t alethia give the staff to basim in eivor time. It’s so sad that’s it’s so bad.

Don't agree with some of your points. I think people have legit criticisms of this game being wayy too large and shallow. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my 50+ hours with it, but it was nowhere near Red Dead or the Witcher in terms of writing and storytelling.

I absolutely agree that it is underrated. But it's also not Assassin's Creed.

It's a great game! Don't get me wrong, it just doesn't have AC's soul, much like Origins and the absolute fail that is Valhalla.

Liked the voice actors. They nailed it. All of them especially the two main actors, seriously it's superb. I mean, why didnt they make it a believable female character? I wish they made an AC game in like 18th century inspired by the life story of that famous woman duelist and opera singer (not even kidding) who was so good doing both the freaking king of France gave her protection by pardoning her several times when she kicked the living bejezus out of some important people. Immagine such a game. Would be an amazing AC game. She also had a very active sexual life with men and women alike.

Take away the assassins creed title and odyssey is a GOTY contender. It’s amazing

AC Odyssey holds a special place in my heart it’s the first AC Game I beat and 100% and the DLCs were amazing it’s up there with Origins in my heart

Valhalla is hated for no reason 🤷🏽‍♂️it was fun and people complained because of the AC name attachment even though Origins and Odyssey didn’t have “assassins” either

here's my opinion, Odyssey is a great game but a terrible AC game, we dont even use the hidden just the spear of leonidas

Odyssey story is far better than Valhalla, but they suck at releasing premature unstable shit full of glitches. (I don't trust Ubisoft anymore for releasing premature, incomplete games wait for the Ultimate edition)

GOW/Odyssey I can’t decide which is best. Two very different types of games. As far as giving credit for Odyssey it is the BEST game Ubisoft ever created by far!

The Newer AC games are crafted with care. Yes they don't feel like the original AC games, but it's still great game nontheless.

You left out the repetitive grindy progression and microtransactions - to comunicate, that this is a game "ppl just hate on" makes you a shill - ofc its fun, its a psyop

Odyssey was the first game I played out of odyssey origins and Valhalla, and odyssey is the best

Im just now seeing this video, and I just now finished my first playthrough of Odyssey and I absolutely loved it. IT was REALLY good. Loved the story and length of it.

I had fun with this game but I think you're overselling it a bit. Yeah the map is big but it feels bland and empty for most of the areas. Yeah they have something similar to the nemesis system but it's shallow and not as interesting.

I liked this game but somehow i hate the thing where story processes based on the level i got stuck in main story where it asked for level 13 and i was on level 8 and no matter how much i do the side quests which i didnt wanted to i never reached level 13 i like mostly the story but hated it that it didnt go forward for this

After Origins, I was done with the AC games. But watching this video and the fact, that Odyssey is currently included in GamePass, made me wanna play it. And yes, I'm an AC fan from day one and Odyssey is nothing like the oldie but goldies. But it has been a good ride so far (approx. 30 h in) because of the voiceacting that's great, writing that's so far above average for my taste and the solid open world that's absolutely stunning. What I like most of it and has in my opinion always been a strong suit for Ubisoft, is the Soundtrack. They just have very good musicians under contract and for me as a hobby producer myself, music and sound design will always affect my emersion with a game. In extreme cases I can't play the game because I don't like the music. Whatever, I rambled on long enough. Love you too Luke plus family and friends, take care and stay healthy <3

I remember how sad I felt when I first beat Odyssey, realizing it would never be the same, already knowing the end and the entire storyline, the islands felt empty without the chaos, the cultists, and all the fallen protagonists. Then Ubisoft decided to launch the Fate of Atlantis, and man, I mean, playing in ancient Greece is almost unbeatable, but being able to play in Elysium and the Underworld of that same Greece (in mythology) is just f*cking incredible and unexpected. And they dropped some pretty massive updates since. Easily my favorite game ever after Runescape.

If you're going in to the game expecting a classic assassin's creed experience, you're going to be disappointed, if you're open to a well made smooth and exciting RPG experience, it's a fantastic game. Even if I have to limit my FPS to 60 just to play it without crashing 😂

it's basically like ac 4. it's a good game, just not a good assassin's creed game.

if only they hadnt called it assasins creed, and made it's own series. all the things you talk about are things i dont like in games. wich is why i hate on this game. 1. it is not assasins creed 2. the crazy vastness is to much and feels empty half the time
