As I've got older I've learnt that if I'm facing my fear(s) the best thing to do is to do an about turn and walk in the opposite direction. Fear gone...problem solved.

That's how I shortened my fear of failure and started some weird COMPANIES.

great work...i love it...fear is the main cause of every failure in life.....

The pickup example isn't correct. If you have positive experience, yeah fear shrinks. But if you have negative experience (a girl tells you smth like: "Ask me for a number? How you can even thought about that? You're fucking nerd!" The trick is to get a lot of rejects, stay positive after it and learn to ignore them. Then you'll become more confident. So, it's more like swing.

Turn the fear into excitement. It's almost the same emotion. Heart rate, stress, tension, just like excitement. It works for me.
