A typical winter morning routine

Join us as we start our day, on anchor in the Kenepuru Sound. Ever wondered what our mornings look like? Much like everyone else, but with a great view and a few extra complexities thrown in for good measure, like rowing the dog to the beach at first light. Winter creates it's own set of conditions to deal with, like the cold, storms and condensation. We are fortunate to have a fantastic beefy marine generator which essentially gives us our own off grid power station, and reliable power at the flick of a switch. We are a family of 6 embarking on new adventures at sea with 2 teenage girls, 2 young boys, an old dog and now 4 birds on our boat in the magical Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand.
