For a moment I thought you were covering Meshuggah.
ОтветитьWorked beautifully. In minutes. Thanks🎉
ОтветитьWay easier to hear and play in cut time
ОтветитьThis made it so easy, thanks
ОтветитьThis is definitely Billy Cobham style but, he does it with his hands where Tomas Haake does it with his feet….😳
ОтветитьI used the herta in a bass drum pattern during a song my band recorded 10 years ago and just now learned that I played hertas incorrectly. This should make it easier to play. Thanks!
ОтветитьExpected to hear bleed by Meshuggah.. heard Bow down by BOO instead lol
ОтветитьBleed by Meshuggah
ОтветитьCan you show us this as Neil Peart plays it?
ОтветитьBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMS OF FIRE SWEEP THROUGH MY HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD!!!
ОтветитьI look at this as a triplet but on the accent stroke do a double stroke.
ОтветитьLove this! I've got a question, is it important to honour the accent on the first stroke of the pattern? I don't hear much, if any, dynamic difference in your rendition of the exercise and I'm left wondering whether it's best to just try to make them sound as even as possible first before adding any accented notes...?
ОтветитьThis video is so fire! Plus they give you a path to similar rudiments.
ОтветитьNo Mute no Muffling your Drums just dead...................
ОтветитьMaybe some day I’ll be able to play hot for teacher
ОтветитьDave Grohl plays the Herta throughout the Queens of the stoneage song “No one knows”
I guess Dave just figured it was about time someone paid homage to the Herta!
My mind was blown when I realised it was basically just a push pull which was the secret to the speed
ОтветитьFinally someone to explain this in a way I can understand!
ОтветитьI really appreciate the slow mo look at the hands, especially as someone who has had to stop taking in-person lessons
ОтветитьAlex Van Halen is annoying for sounding so good I am gonna put myself through this shit to copy him 🥲
Ответить“You might have to really work this one out, slowly, before it feels natural…”
😂 understatement of the century!!!
Very appreciated
ОтветитьI've been doing hertas in my brain since forever but instructions are somehow confusing, weird.
ОтветитьYou just have a way of explaining things that makes it seem really simple. You deserve way more subs
Ответитьi wanna play esoteric surgery by gojira on guitar, my brain can't focus on this well so i'm trying to understand the drum so maybe i can do it.
ОтветитьExcellent video — thanks!
ОтветитьBRRTA BRRTA BRRTA. xD
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьBeams of fire sweap through my head.
Ответитьyes im here to (eventually) play Bleed, see ya in like, a year lmao
ОтветитьWow, love how you explain the mechanics of it all
ОтветитьThis is probably the best video I’ve found to understand the herta
ОтветитьDamn you're great at explaining things
ОтветитьAwesome video! It was new to me!!
ОтветитьVery nice!
