I presume if you're upgrading the bios to upgrade your CPU you must upgrade bios with a CPU that is currently supported installed first?

mine says not the correct bios! how do i fix?

I didn't continue because it reminded me to backup bitlocker before you update bio. Do you have any idea what is this bit locker? How to back up it.. What if I continue update bio if bitlocker not yet set or enabled?

Never mind, I know now bitlocker.. It's not really matter if ever you are not enable encryption in your drive or not enable bitlocker. But if you enable it, it required your bitlocker pass or key upon updating bios..

Im thinking about upgrading my CPU to ryzen 5 3600 so i need to update my motherboard just like you shown in the video.
My question now is will this affect my PC working with my Ryzen 3 1300x until i buy the 3600?

If you encounter an error message saying read failed or something along those lines repeat this process on an external usb flash drive and then open the file from that. Worked for me at least

I'm following the steps and when I get to the part where I need to select the bios .cap archive it doesn't show, nothing happens and then it freezes, I am 100% certain that I am in the right folder
Could someone help me?

i have the same mobo and i reset it. before i overclocked my ram from 2666 to 3000mhz and it is working well in my computer last week i reset my bios and tried to overclock my ram from 2666 to 3000mhz and it crashes and bsod even though i overclocked it to the number next to 2666mhz do u know the solution for this? thanks

Did you remove the SDD HDD before you update the BIOS??

i also have this motherboard but i can't install ssd because i can't find space for ssd. I have to take out the HDD first, then put the SSD in. but case doesn't work just stick to bios
