It is totally ridiculous that you aren't able to stream HD Music through USB Digital out of a Nvidia Shield, even the Shield is capable of.

The only download options I have after just downloading the windows application are standard or data saver. Does this mean HD is no longer apart of the downloaded songs for amazon?

is that bad..... all tracks will be upsampled to the highest bit rate .Ya think 16/44 would be better . For some reason my computer does not say 2 channel ,but it will let me set it to 32/384 and it does change on my DAC screen to 384. Where is my 2 channel setting ?.What should I do .I do have a SMSL DO 100 DAC

If you download high res music 24bit x 96khz or 192khz to any device, it will playback at the devices audio settings and with most android phones that is 16bit x 44.1khz or 48khz i think and a dac wont help with that

Hi, thanks for the content, I recently got a external DAC Hiby FC3 I did all this settings, except it doesn’t have his on software to control the DAC but I set it to the maximum is capable of deciding up to MQA, but for some reason every time I play a song either stream or Download the max rate is 44khz, when you click in the HD/ULTRA HD logo, the app tells you what are you currently playing with details of bit rate it recognizes that the DAC is capable playing higher rates but audio is only playing at 44, hope you can help me how to get best out of it

Amazon music HD is a shitty service. It does not support bitperfect audio playback, effectively making that service useless.

The problem is the app is bugged. If you update it to the latest version as of April 12, 2021 you'll find that some of your music won't play. For me it's the music I have purchased. It shows it in the app it played it yesterday the app updates to day and now the music I have purchased is just skipped over by the app. And only the music IA purchased which is really odd. Directed by this I did the troubleshooting steps of clearing the cache recent king the songs and even adding and removing them from the playlists. Nothing worked eventually had to uninstall and re install the app and prevented from doing And update this problem is consistent across all Samsung products that I own. Each device wants it updates the app no longer will play music I have purchased. The app is bugged and Amazon of course won't fix it

I've owned the audioengine B1 bluetooth receiver for a few years and it's an amazing piece of kit..!

I've got it connected to my Cairn mono block amplifiers running with dali speakers (worth nearly £7k new) - then bluetoothed too my HP laptop using the AptX codec and it sounds great..!

i mainly listen to amazon music which I think is upto 320kbs,
but they also have a service call amazon music HD which runs 16bit files with 44.1 kilohertz sampling and upto 850mbs,
and the HD option also includes ultra HD music files which are 24bit lossless files (above cd quality) - 192 kilohertz sampling rate and upto 3730mbs..

so, my question is, will my setup benefit from the upgrade to amazon HD music, or will i not be able to hear a difference?

Layout on amazon music sucks ! As far as I can see you have to select an album before you add it to a playlist

I have a question: to appreciate the full quality of UHD songs in Amazon music HD I set the audio proprieties in Windows 10 like you show in the video, 24 bit 96 khz, but if I want to hear later for example an mp3 in the media player, I have to change again the default format in windows 10 at 16 bit 44.1 khz or I can keep the settings for the maximun sample rate?
