Fantastic choices! The thing is, I want a Bucherer chronograph in the $8000. But for now, it's too much money to spend on a watch. But on this list, I saw some great alternatives with a a similar look for much less money. And watches that I'd be proud to wear on my wrist.
ОтветитьPity you didn't include the Vulcain at £2,250.
ОтветитьI really like the Hamilton intra matic. Would be cool if they made them with the hour counter. Hopefully someday.
ОтветитьThat breguet is so clean and understated. Love it.
ОтветитьI would add Mondaine Grand Cushion
ОтветитьSome of us do actually have bigger wrists and like 41-42mm watches.
ОтветитьThanks, Teddy, really nice review but honestly I have always had the same problem my Wrist is around 19cm (19,3 or so) and watches under 41mm just look like Toys on my Wrist. Would have loved some "bigger" Options. Although I just bought the Bulova Lunar Snoopy I am always looking for some nice watches 🙂
ОтветитьSeiko coutura is a truly underrated watch here that rarely gets a mention....chronograph, perpetual calander, alarm, solar powered (you name it and the feature is there) with a great balance of sportiness and dress styling.
Ответитьwhat happen to iwc portugieser 40mm??
ОтветитьI am a broke student , little depressed , and addicted to these videos hopefully someday I could at least buy a hamilton fingers crossed
ОтветитьDaytona is great.
ОтветитьLove my chronographs. Three on my list are the Hamilton, Longines and Tissot.
ОтветитьA whole lot of very attractive and interesting watches. Personally, I have no desire for a manual wind watch. I have had a few, and frankly I just am terrible at remembering to wind the things. So for me, it has to be an automatic (or quartz/solar, though I much prefer the mechanical movements)
ОтветитьI wish omega did current speedy professional in panda and reverse panda
ОтветитьNivada Grenchen and Excelsior Park are both Zombie brands resurrected for "Brand Recognition" by VCs. I love that Brew Metric, btw. Terrible name though. "Brew"... really?
ОтветитьInformative and solid content..... Review *
ОтветитьGreat video, as always!
ОтветитьHello all a question is really bugging me after seeing this Zenith chronograph with the tentths of second hand. If a watch operates at 4Hz or 5Hz, how can it track tenths of a second (decisecond)?. First of all at best it could track each beat so at lets say 5Hz, so 10 clicks per second, it could at best show 10 decisecond intervals. Now given that there is variation between each beat (this is why we use and average 8 or 10 per second) even if we displayed 10 decisecond they could potentially look a bit wobbly and uneven. How does zenith shows the increments in between the 10th of a second?
ОтветитьThat longines was beautiful
ОтветитьReally on the fence between the Speedy57 and the El Primero .. anyone have any points or thoughts to help me out?
ОтветитьThe Hamilton is gorgeous
ОтветитьI would definitely use your site for purchases just cause you do so much more for us but I’m in Canada 🙄
ОтветитьAnother fantastic video Teddy, fascinating insight that I could never achieve on my own and perfectly pitched. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьDavid Clark green…
ОтветитьI do wish JLC would reissue their 1940's chronograph, which looks like today's Seagull.
ОтветитьÓTIMOS RELÓGIOS 👍👍 🇧🇷
ОтветитьIn it's time the Antarctic was Nivadas biggest seller, I dunno why they don't re-issue it.
ОтветитьThe best part of the production on a wide range of prices. All these Chronographs are beautiful from 300 $ to 50 000 $. i would be happy to buy , the LONGINES, the OMEGA Speedmaster, the BREITLING (green one) and the BREGUET .
ОтветитьGreat vid, Teddy. I would love to see a commentary on accessible rattrapante chronos.
Ответитьwhy is "Zinn" spelled "Sinn" ????????????????????????????????????????????????????
that's so annoying to me.
Thanks for pressenting watches of a good size , 38-39,5mm.
ОтветитьOmega speedmaster is missing
ОтветитьNavitimer 806.
ОтветитьThat Breitling premier with the pistachio dial is awesome. I have a feeling it may be a love it or hate it watch. As for me, I love it. Those love it or hate it pieces are a fascinating little sector of collecting I think. Everyone has some kind of emotional response to those types of watches lol. Can make for great entertainment!
ОтветитьI’m like you Bruce, I live an active lifestyle…bought a Seiko SWR052 and used the rest of my funds for divers instead of going the Cartier route. Love the dial work on your MM300!
ОтветитьYou should have squeezed Blancpain Air Command in between Breguet and Lange. It's pretty much a direct facsimile of the 1950s Air Command, and IMO one of the handsomest chronos in production now.
Ответить"Homage" is an English word, so you don't use the French pronounciation.
Ответитьi have all
ОтветитьGreat! I'll take them all
ОтветитьThanks so much for another fantastic list Teddy. Breitling Premier BO9 is the standout for me. Exceptional in every way.
ОтветитьNice selection, especially the Seagull is quite a cool piece. On the upper end of the price range, I would definitely see the Speedmaster 321 Ed White the best heritage Chrono of them all. It doesn’t get any better than this.
Ответитьwhere is max bill ???
Ответитьjust got the sugess chronograph from sea gull its nice would recommend cost me only $180
ОтветитьNot talking about Lip Rallye?
ОтветитьHmmm…the Breguet XX is interesting indeed!
ОтветитьRolex Daytona missing
ОтветитьJunghans Maxbill Chronoscope doesn't count as heritage?
ОтветитьI own a Furlan Marri which design wise is based on Patek Phillipe but with a Mecha Quartz movement, i also own a Dan Henry 1937 inspired by chronographs of that time period, again a Mecha quartz, i also own a Bauhaus Iron Annie but is solar powered, although you can get an automatic model, albeit around £700 UK pounds more expensive.
