This is one of my favorite games. I had so much fun, but SO much anger, too.

I started solo. I had no idea about servers, taming, or anything. It was me, alone, vs everything, barely knowing how to build a little thatch hut. It was really tough. One of my first owned monsters was a wyvern, because I accidentally set my base up RIGHT outside a big mountain on the desert, which happened to be the wyvern nest. My very first monster was a Pterodactyl. I LOVED flying in that game. It showed me how big of a world I was in. I was shocked to find out there were other maps to visit through the Obelisks.

Alphas actually spawn further inland but that won’t stop them from wandering towards the beaches
