Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi 3 is Still Flawless!

this was the pinnacle for anime fighting games.

Why modern dragon ball games are getting trasher and trasher. Old games are somehow more advanced.

I remember picking this game up at Walmart for $25. Such good times I’ve had with this game.

It might just be the emulator I was using but for some reason I can't win beam clashes and I'm struggling to freaking teleport out of the opponent's combos. I don't remember struggling with this game back on an actual ps2 😂

nothing will ever compare to how good this game was. all new games are just money farms milking players with all the DLC.

When I was younger I preferred ultimate tenkaichi to budokai tenkaichi 3….and I am still ashamed.

Chi chi is the worst n most nonsense character design before db gt and db super.

This game simply made you feel like a super fu**ing saiyan..you could transform every 5 seconds , have beam clashes, melee clashes, power up to the max, destroy environment, and specially the roster

I’m so hyped for sparking zero. I unfortunately didn’t have the pleasure of knowing these games or even dragonball growing up until I was 13 when my friends introduced me to dbz. I’m just grinding kakarot until it drops.

BT3s storytelling is rather weak compared to BT2. But the fights are definately flawless.

This game is very flawed. I hate the story mode, not because it’s condensed, but the cheap ass AI, I have played the first two games, and they were nowhere near as unfair as the artificial intelligence in this game the game will let you win when it says you can win half the time the AI runs away from you pestering you with ki blasts thus killing any enjoyment you might have gotten out of this game.

I'm so pissed that this game is literally $300 on ebay, I had this game as a 10 year old but one of my friends stole it from me

Piccolo is not a better father since Piccolo is only slightly older than Gohan, making him more like an older brother or cousin. If you’ve seen the training episodes of him and Piccolo, you would’ve seen that not much training was happening and more so straight up abuse.

If you watched the show, you find that Goku died twice due to his son’s incompetence. Almost died in like every single time Gohan found trouble. Goku is too good of a father and would be seen as a God to Gohan at some point in the story.

After playing through the series in preparation for Tenkaichi 4....i starting to question T3's hype....
Yes, it is a love letter in terms of fanservice, attention to detail etc. No question.
But actually playing it?
Controls are clunky, the input window for defensive options is stupidly tight, the AI is annoyingly aggressive and spammy...
I...just don't find it any fun to actually play...

It's great to mess around with it, sure, but actually playing it feels like a Mario Sunshine situation:
"Bet Mario game ever made!" until people actually replay it and discover what a mess it actually is...

Can't wait for Sparkling Zero 😁It will be my main content
