Since no one else has mentioned it in the comments: Jon is sort of right about the definition of philanthropy, but completely wrong about where the definition comes from. In actuality, "philanthropy" comes from the Greek roots "philo", meaning love, and "anthropo", meaning human, combining to mean "the love of humanity".

When I was watching the whole Kangaskhan debacle, I saw Andy's expression change like halfway through and then I saw him trying to say something and I was like "Andy, honey, no, leave it be."
