so i would like to know or to confirm something, previously i had some films in my usb driver and like the usual i put it in the tv to watch but a different one the tv started to format the usb I don't know how and i quickly stopped it and then placed it in the pc to check but it was already over but when i try to enter the usb driver it trll me that i have to format it even after the accident so i am pretty confused and scared since the drive had very important stuff can it be fixed with your methods or no ?

That last one saved me but now I have to wait I have over 100 gb on it

The worst thing you can do is the first one! That command writes files on your USB drive, ergo overwriting other old data sectors.
