The way it used to be; fresh produce, wanted by a entire nation, trains planes, trucks, well the automobile had checkpoints in Calif. and Ariz. so count them out!

This is a 4x3 aspect ratio film. Why was it stretched to 16x9? Makes viewing very hard to watch.

The opening intro sounds a bit like “I Love Lucy”... but a great look back at shipping back then.

Probably every person in that video is dead now in 2020.

That train horn from the diesel is isnsane. It stands out but not a favorite. Sounds like a ship/boat horn.

Also the ice cars are a favorite of mine. Seems environmentally efficient than gas/diesel powered.
