Just putting my random fact nerd hat on for a minute: people of East Asian descent actually are very likely to have dry ear wax! One study in Japan found it was over 77% of the population, it's why you find ear cleaning salons around commonly in Japan. The same gene which causes dry ear wax apparently also causes your sweat to have no smell, so that's an advantage 😂

ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you. Wishing "The Lovely Mr. Taylor Green" a speedy recovery. ❤

ОтветитьIs he still locked in a cupboard? :D
ОтветитьThank you for the informative narration Rhys. ❤️ Interesting removals. Get well soon Taylor. ❤
ОтветитьThe narration was perfect Rhys. We would never had know that the patient belonged to Taylor, had you not told us. 👏❤️
Hope Taylor is feeling better and will soon be back at work having fun with you.
❤
ОтветитьNo food comparisons?? I thought it looked like mashed sweet potato, or yams!! LOL!!
ОтветитьNot sure why my face is going red at the mention of cotton buds..😂
ОтветитьI see you call them "Q Tips" in the title and "cotton buds" in the narrative- are you assuming that the British viewers are sophisticated enough to recognise what Q tips are but our less worldly cousins would be stumped by the use of the term cotton buds?
Or am I overthinking this?
Thank you Rhys. Great compilation. Poor Taylor has germ warfare going on in him 🤧🤒. You'll be right mate, take time for your immune system to kick those germs out.
ОтветитьHoping that Taylor feels better soon. Great video.
ОтветитьThanks Doc for flying solo 👏👌✈️

Sorry Taylor is not feeling well. Hope he will be back soon and feeling better.
Good job on removing all that wax Rhys. My compliments to you Rhys. Take care. Iowa here. Steve.
Good job Rhys! Hope Taylor gets to feeling better. The man with the q-tip should know better. Don’t put it in your ear and you won’t have to have it taken out. 👏🏻👏🏻💜
ОтветитьWishing Taylor all the best. Get well soon. My coworker is also sick, pneumonia I think. We are all coughing and sputtering 😁
ОтветитьPoor Taylor. Refuah shleimah, my dude. 💖

Get to feeling better soon Taylor

Get well soon Taylor
ОтветитьIs the olive oil for general health of the ear canal or just to use to soften the wax?
ОтветитьI love your videos and I hope Taylor gets a speedy recovery! Just wanted to ask about that migration process. How does the body actually do that? As in how does the wax actually move up and out of the ear canal, rather that what we see with a lot of these patients where that process fails to happen?
ОтветитьI would totally make an appointment with you if I lived closer but I am in the middle of the US! 😂
Ответитьi guess there was no denying he was using a t-tip
ОтветитьI used to put Q tips in my ears... theres no other feeling like it!🙉
ОтветитьSquash. Buttered squashed. Baked in an oven.
ОтветитьGreat video. I hope Taylor feels better soon.
ОтветитьWe wish Taylor a speedy recovery.
ОтветитьYOU say it’s a putty consistency, but I think it looks a lot more like sweet potato casserole.
ОтветитьRhys could do audiobooks narration in my opinion.
Ответить❤❤❤YOUR CHANNEL!!!
ОтветитьMy boss was an ENT and we used an endoscope to visualize the larynx, among other things, and at the last ½ inch or so of the tip could bend. The control was a lever by the thumb. Maybe you should invent a similar scope tip like that - it would still be firm and inflexible to allow you to use it to hold the EAM open, but could also look beyond curved canals.
ОтветитьI do hope Taylor takes care and is feeling better soon!! Thanks Rhys for keeping things going. Love the mix of medical and everyday terms.
ОтветитьThankx for another great voice over! Pls tell Taylor to feel better aoon!
ОтветитьPlease give Taylor lots of get well wishes. I enjoyed you, Rhys, going over Taylor's videos as it gives a different viewpoint since you're seeing them for the first time, too.
ОтветитьAs someone from across the pond, I unfortunately am unable to book an appointment at this time and thus do not click on the link :P
ОтветитьFeel better soon Taylor ❤
ОтветитьFeel better Taylor!
ОтветитьMr. Taylor Green, us fans hope for a speedy and lovely recovery!
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThank you Rhys, excellent as always. Speedy recovery Taylor!
ОтветитьYou may find more women with dry ears as well. During and after menopause many women find that their skin becomes dryer everywhere - which would include the ear canals. Also, prescriptions for hypertension often include a diuretic to reduce the chance of fluid collecting around the heart. Pills are not site-specific; and so diuretics will remove moisture from everywhere. If you're an older woman and you've been prescribed pills that include a diuretic, you're getting a double-whammy on the lack of moisture problem. Older women often complain of very itchy ear canals. Lack of moisture is the culprit and will make migration of the skin layers from within the ear canal a problem.
ОтветитьMe too, Taylor. Me too, 😷
