My mom and dad attended the game. My father was an advertising executive at the time and had contacts at the TV and radio stations, and with the Tigers. He obtained the recording because my mother is a big fan of Mel Torme. My father passed in 1999. I recently spent time going through boxes of my dad's stuff and came across a cassette with the recording, and thought I'd share it. Enjoy.

I don't know who currently owns the rights to the original "Thanks for the Memory" or the revised version used on Al Kaline Day, but hope they allow my sharing it due to the historical significance and the fact I'm not making any money from it.
