Why Most Roblox Devs Quit (The Sad Truth...)

Welp the thing is I did start very Motivated and I haven't given up and started to learn coding by giveaways and messing with others scripts I WAY better at animating compared to how I started. You can give an hour to me and I would make a good animation. I also got better at modeling by time.

if your trying to learn an skill in roblox i would recomend modeling or animation and dont use lua bc lua cant realy be used in other stuff and i dont recoment making clothe bc you will get paid under minimum page

you forgot to add unfidable good games
basically you are a new starting dev, you made a simple and good game that people most likely would like and play atm, but there is an issue. Where are the players going to find your game from?
with ads! And what if you dont have robux?
this is a huge roblox issue and they should fix this or else we will lose more and more roblox devs

since im a beginner, i dont know anything about scripting, and tutorials are quite boring for me, but i found a solution to keep me motivated
i make a mvp about a really good and simple idea. then, with many ideas collected while making it, i pick the simple ones and try to find a way to implement them
i would like to have a moving button, so i go through the time to learn vector3. I wanna make my codes more complicated and tidier, i use locals. i develop both the game and me.
this is really effective because your constantly developing the game, which is progress, and it feels really good, motivating you to continue further

Platform's just so dry and you realise that every idea has already been taken.

Yeah, it's like that for me, I did a game like a week ago, and I'm trying to make it popular, but there is no players at all, I also did a new video today to see if it's going to work somehow, with different styles of videos. I hope my game gets at least, some players to play it. I'm really trying to improve on editing videos and scripting on Roblox.

Fortunately for me I am not having bad luck, been working on a horror escape game with features for about 2 months and I'd say I'm probably 60% complete.. I work on this daily for a minimum of 3hrs

the problem with this is whats happening to roblox right now,look at it being flooded in bad games the problem is,unless you are either well known or make a game aimed for very young kids its hard to get good ones HECK even some popular games like book of monsters had fallen off becuse they ware flooded by trash.

So I have been a dev for 2 years now and this a really big prob actually many devs quit bc they don't have the motivation some ppl become devs for robux or money and it's understanable but you need to allso work for the Game and not only for the money and robux and ppl release games thinking of getting millions of robux and the best way to be motivated as a small devloper is work withe other devlopers to make a game together and help each other withe the work and allso having a roblox group or a yt channel is really help full if your a small devloper and now withe new ai generating icon thingy many small devlopers withe low budget can use it for the Game and use in free models won be good bc your skill won't improve blender is really easy if you learn the basic settings and allso you can make stuff in roblox studio and allso do commissions for robux and invest the robux in games hire devlopers and creat a game developing studio or smth and work your way up to the top

So, I expected all of my games will not get over 1k or even 200 visits!, I jinxed myself, I got over 1k Visits. And im now working on a project thats right now isnt that big. I expect when the mega update releases ill make a gaint room there will be 3 hallways and there will be stairs to go to offices and the 3 hallways will have offices.
