My Mom taught me, same way your mom did!

As a 24 year old who was never given chores growing up, I will 1000% be making my future children do chores. It’s really negatively impacted me as an adult. Not that I don’t necessarily know how to clean, but I dread it and I put it off all the time and my apartment is always a disaster. Really trying to learn some new habits here 😂 love your tips!

This is a great idea. I wish I had hose access. I live in an apt. I thought about the shower but I don’t think the base of my chair will fit in the shower. The chair is pretty heavy.

Man, I'm sorry, squeegeeing my shower every time after I use it is too much commitment, we used to do it in my childhood home and I would detest it! Sometimes it makes sense to do some things less frequent to save your mental health.

I was not taught how to clean. I just winged it a fell prey the commercialism of cleaning products, and I can honestly tell you that I hated to clean. I found that I was having anxiety with using a lot of products as the smell and damage that I did to my skin made me not want to clean, although I still do it I just wanted to take a moment, and thank you from the bottom of my heart to let you know that cleaning is not a struggle for me any longer as I use your methods of DIY products and microfibre cloth. It has been a complete game changer for me. I can relax and clean.❤

My mom was a clean freak so cleaning was sometimes met with much stress for me but I have found a way to be very efficient in my home so, everything you said in this video makes sense. I discovered the squeegee method years ago, it’s a steadfast rule in our house too. Thanks for the tips!

My grandma taught me to clean. Her house has always been spotless. I learned mostly by watching her because she never made me do anything really. But she let me help her! My favorite thing to clean was the bathtub! I also loved to dust.

Looking back I realize that things that I helped her clean were so easy because she kept it up! She cleaned weekly!

My mother on the other hand never cleaned except for the kitchen. She taught me how to wash dishes by hand. Though the rest of the house was a mess, she hated dirty dishes. But she did not make it fun and I hated that task! Still do… but now I have a dishwasher so that makes it better. Lol

I actually learn to clean through a book and then watching videos including your videos, I do house keeping for a living since the yr 2004 and I know how to use products but I prefer using diy cleaning liquids and I avoid using Clorox unless is totally necessary, I love using cleaning clothes they’re really helpful in cleaning and dusters… but you never stop learning after many yrs in the business, I always watch tutorials to learn more and be more efficient with my time and my work that way my clients get quality from my visits to their house

I am a perfectionist who actually enjoys cleaning, kinda like a therapy for me. I have only recently gone to work for someone else cleaning but hopefully in the future I can have a business of my own.

I enjoy cleaning. It’s the decluttering that is so hard. I just never get all the way through it.

Thanks for your vids. I def use the timer method with a good song or maybe even the news in the background. If I can stay distracted between the media and passively cleaning for 5 mins, I will most likely keep going for 10 mins more which is the sweet spot for me making a nice dent or keeping up.
