What is your favorite city in Mexico to live in and why? Share below!
ОтветитьI moved from Phoenix to Cabo San Lucas 2 years ago. The weather is amazing 10 months a year and is the least humid beach in Mexico by far. The weather on the east coast is horrible with humidity and nasty seaweed. It has some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life and I've been to more than 30 different countries. I absolutely love it here the culture, weather, food and the energy.
ОтветитьAll the places I would never want to live.
ОтветитьThe sound track is at a very low level. To hear the commentary, I had to turn up my volume control. When an ad-clip came on it was not regulated in volume, and it was terribly loud. This should not happen. All the clips associated with a video should be modulated to the same level. I stopped watching "Best Cities..." I don't want to be deaf when I retire.
ОтветитьI love Mexico and have been there many times. The places you mention have one thing in common: they are rather expensive, at least by Mexican standards. For those of us on a tighter budget I would recommend Guadalajara and Puebla ... both charming historic bigger cities but not as hectic as Mexico City.
ОтветитьI'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
ОтветитьLived in Patzcuaro, Michoacan since 2012. Smaller town of about 70,000. Very busy as a center for many other villages. 7,000 feet in the extinct Mexican Transvolcanic range. Weather is beautiful, all year round! 70 degree days in the winter, no higher than 80 in the summer. Very cheap to live. Never saw any violence in 10 years. Not afraid to walk at night. I had a house built in a development on a hillside, 20 minute walk from El Centro. Home of Noche de Muertos! 30 some miles from Morelia, the Capitol. All your box stores there. None in Patzcuaro! My passport lapsed in 2017, never going back!
ОтветитьWhat's good about 90s to 100s in the summertime? Please give me the mountainous areas.
ОтветитьIts not inexpensive anymore..dont be fooled. Do you have access to anything found in the states? Yes, isvit a bit cheaper than Canada, Europe or the states.. yes.. inexpensive? No! My family's from there as am I ' but raised in U.S.. we've had businesses in Mejico since the 70s. But we've started to relocate to Portugal..
ОтветитьI’m watching this video to find the cities NOT to retire in Mexico. You know the cost of living in any city recommended here will be higher than other cities in Mexico due to gringo retirees moving there and making the price of everything go up.
ОтветитьHow about chapala ajijic ?
ОтветитьReally poor info. No actual info on cost of living, rent, utilities, transportation, medical ect.....
ОтветитьI'M A NEW SUBSCRIBER TO YOUR CHANNEL BUT I'M A SUBSCRIBER TO TANIEL I'VE VACATIONED IN CABOS THE FIRST TIME IN 21 AND LOOK AT REAL ESTATE AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CITY AND DECIDED THAT WHEN I RETIRE IN 25 THAT'S WHERE I WANT TO GO I THEN TRAVELED TO PVALLART IN 22 AND 23 IN 22 IT WAS SLOW LIKENING BUT IN 23 ONCE I GOT THE VIBE I BEGAN TO LOVE THE CITY I WANT TO VISIT MAZATLAN TO SEE HOW IT'S THERE AS WELL AS PLAYA DEL CARMEN APPRECIATE THE INFO VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL
ОтветитьFor the people that like to call yourselves "expats" flash news: you're immigrants like everyone else, your ancestors from the "Mayflower" they were immigrants, you family emigrated from other place, and now you're immigrating to Mexico that's ok, but don't fantasize or/and romanticize it trying to sell yourselves as "expats" to the rest of the world so you think you'd feel less like you're not struggling with your current life situation, in that case then Venezuelans, Colombians, Salvadorians in USA are expats as well or do only applies to USA, Canadian, European pean, English citizens?
The office you have to go in Mexico for your paperwork is called "Instituto Nacional de Migración" and is not "Instituto Nacional de Expatriados", be honest to yourselves people that's the first step to integrate yourselves and make a life much more easier for you, leave that sense of entitlement in your old life house
PV is the paradise for paedo0philes and especially for g4ys, drug4dicts...look at this guy...looks like arma blanca
ОтветитьYou forgot Merida, Yucatán…the safest town in all Mexico and it’s beautiful 🌹
ОтветитьThe place is hot in summer, nice in winter. Guadalajara warm in winter rain in summer but temperature same .winter or summer. Every thing is within Walking distance. Buss service is First class. Bus run every 10 minutes.
ОтветитьI have lived all over Mexico and one of the best cities is Guanajato if you want to pay high prices and be with too many Americans go to San Miguel, I have actually lived in most of these cities not just what other people say!
ОтветитьSan Cristobal de la Casa is the place to be.
ОтветитьPV is not for me. I'm a native Houstonian. The LAST thing I want is hot, humid weather! Give me a high mountain town with 50-to-80F year-round temps
ОтветитьStumbled on the show Mexico Life today and saw Taniel!
ОтветитьMy wife and I relocated to Morelia, Michoacan two years ago. She's a Mexican citizen and I'm from Reno, Nevada. The year round climate, the cost of living, culture, people, architecture, and of course, the food, are all reasons that make Mexico desirable.
We've never been approached or victimized by ANY crime in Mexico, and have never been made to feel unwelcome. If you look for trouble, you can find it, just like anywhere else in the world.
It's certainly been the best move I've ever made.
VIVA MEXICO 🇲🇽
Chapala, Jalisco. Expat Friendly, close to Ajijic, my husband's hometown. already built a house there, plan to retire in about 10 to 15 years and planning ahead makes sense to us. we will be finally arriving in the finished product later next month.
ОтветитьThe last thing I desire is to be around more of the lgbt crap that is all over the USA. I prefer more traditional communities where lgbt dont feel welcome.
ОтветитьDON'T START PACKING YET, CAUSE IF YOUR COUNTRY 🇺🇸 INVADES MINE 🇲🇽 YOUR ALL GOING TO HAVE TO RETURN TO YOUR‼️‼️🤨
ОтветитьThis gentleman is totally misleading . Most prices is matched with U.S. dollar . Flight from Toronto is more than 5hours .
ОтветитьFunny thing is that I vacationed in Mexico dozens of times (being from Texas, it was easy) but when it came time to retire... I never even considered Mexico. Great vacation spot but it never occurred to me to live there. I have been in Iloilo, Philippines for 10 years and love it. But flights to visit my kids and grand-kids would be a lot cheaper and shorter. 😎
ОтветитьMazatlan , San Sebastián del Oeste
ОтветитьIn reading the comments, it’s clear that some people commenting didn’t actually watch the video. Thanks for the great info!
ОтветитьI'm thinking about moving there, my mother has dementia. I heeda change in my life. It's great the hear to hear that they have things like Walmart and Sam's it's Club but it's also close to California where I have family. Looking to maybe make a move in about a year.
ОтветитьPLEASE!!!! Don’t start say letters for a Mexican citizen what’s PV ??? You want to move to Mexico 🇲🇽 learn how to pronounce..
Ответитьi live in playa del carme 2 years, then san jose del cabo for 5 years now living in la paz , the best of all
ОтветитьAlphabet people 🌈 ? No thanks
ОтветитьI thought foreigners couldn’t buy property within 30 miles of the coast?
Ответить🤨
ОтветитьGreat work. But no mention of price at all???????
ОтветитьGuadalajara should have been on the list. San Miguel de Allende is too far from bigger cities and airports.
ОтветитьOaxaca 😂
ОтветитьHi guys, I’m not sure what you guys are talking about. It’s expensive over there. Is a good place for well off people over there, not for regular class.
Ответитьwhat about pollution? I have not been to Mexico in many years. I recall it having heavy pollution.
ОтветитьNot in mexico , they said in mexico eat cats food, why you wants to live in México then.
ОтветитьIn case this lady didn't catch it, the LGBTQ presence in Puerto Vallarta is a detriment that the guy would have preferred she did not mention.
ОтветитьYou didn't address public transportation. Many of us don't want to have to purchase cars. Comparing Mexico to the States it not a good standard. You should have given numbers and spoke of the areas being tourist traps.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьReally excited to watch until the lgbt bs comment. lost credibility. why would I watch a show about great places to live in mexico then get hit with where lgbt are embraced. bye bye
ОтветитьIm selling my house in CDMX. 300 k, Desierto de los Leones.
ОтветитьAny comments about the effects of the migration issue to the US and political crisis relating to the cartels on expatting to Mexico or even wintering in Mexico?
ОтветитьDoes the cartel bother retirees?
ОтветитьMexico City!! One of the most exciting cities all over the world
Ответить
