Nice advice....but in Montana to ask a fisherman what depth, rigging, bait is committing a sin .....they will not tell😢😢.
ОтветитьScent never hurts 💯✌️🎣
ОтветитьWisconsin
ОтветитьI fish a Crystal clear body of water. You can easily see the bottom at 20ft. You need a light shop. This technique is by far the best. No scent no fish. The other side of this is night fishing usually catches more fish. Thx for reinforcing a great way to catch walleye.
ОтветитьHeaded to Merritt Reservoir right outside of Valentine, Nebraska, in a few months hoping to slay some monster Walleyes.
ОтветитьGreat information, thanks!!
ОтветитьI'm born and raised on the Mountian Fork River in southeast Oklahoma. The best way we catch spring walleye that spawn up the river from Broken Bow lake is to throw 3 to 5 inch grubs like the Zoom Fat Albert or Kalin lunker grubs.Personally I like a 7 foot spinning setup.1/8 to 1/4 jighead grubs in a crayfish pattern early and minnow color later in tha spring.Just making cast in and around gravel bars and back eddies.I also throw small jerkbaits in the original Rapala floating minnow and smithwick rouges
ОтветитьOld school right there 😂 That was my favorite back in the day, before bandits and spoons. We fish Lake Erie though
ОтветитьAwesome instructional video. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьNorth ga, 1st walleye trip on sat
ОтветитьI don't do trolling because I don't have a boat. Please do a show for us land locked folks.
ОтветитьCatching walleye in Oklahoma on several lakes. Gold, silver, yellow/black blades in several styles and finishes. Walkers and beads
ОтветитьPersonal opinion, bottom bouncers always produce fish, pulling cranks produces the BIG fish.
ОтветитьI tie my harnesses up with a single slow death hook...adds action to the crawler .. great video guys. Keep it up
ОтветитьBlack hills of south dakota!!!!!
ОтветитьGee, some of this setup just makes me feel that you are bringing a bazooka to a gunfight.Whatever works.
ОтветитьIf I was going to fish for walleye in June, Lake Chelan in Washington, how deep should I go and watch kind of structure? Should I look for if anyone can help me out that will be amazing

Ответитьyou didnt mention you need a boat
ОтветитьThanks to Hellboy and luka doncic for the tips 👍
ОтветитьI live on lake erie,,walleye capital of the world. I never use more than 12 pound fireline...why put sumpin heavier than your going to catch. THEY CAN SEE YA KNOW??TROLLING IS A GOOD METHOD. BUT 50 POUND LIBE IS AJOKE. THEY ARENT CHINOOK SALMON. WHICH I GO EVEN LIGHTER. ANYHOW. DONT YSE HEAVY ASS LINE
ОтветитьHere in Canada 🇨🇦..We call em Pickerel..Detroit River..Mid April! Only got one yesterday..shall see today!
ОтветитьEffective but not easy😅
ОтветитьSometimes on South Dakota lakes, the crawler harness rig with a couple of beads and a slow death crawler hook (single) do the best. The hook causes the crawler to spin, and there is no need for the spinner. Works really well in shallower lakes 10 foot and under. Not always… but when the bite is there, the spinner actually does worse than a couple of beads and the slow death hook. But, when on the Missouri River in deeper water the spinner seems to be a better option.
ОтветитьNorthern Michigan walleye tip on them
ОтветитьI'm In Ohio and fish for walleye on lake eire which for me at least is like the holy grail of walleye fishing. A style of bait fishing I almost only see in the Midwest is slow dropping minnows. It is super simple and effective in basically any jigging scenario. Just find a pod of fish suspended and take a minnow either alive or dead and hook it and about 18 inches up put a tiny little split shot. The key is as the name suggests that you want the minnow to really slowly fall to the bottom amidst the fish. Just post up about 10 or 20 yards away from the pod and cast in directly on top of them. 30 or 45 seconds later it should fall through the pod and BAM you have a fish. In my experience 9 times out of 10 this will soundly out fish jigging or power corking.
ОтветитьI only caught one walleye (1lb) in the year 2022 lol
ОтветитьI love the beaded bracelet the blue-shirted guy has on his left wrist.
ОтветитьHow deep of water would you say that setup is effective in?

ОтветитьCan I use a Carolina rig for walleye from shore?
ОтветитьFishing in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in mid September , just can't seem to get them to bite. I really liked your video, I have never used a leader over 3 ft long, nor have I used a weight over 1 ounce. Now I have to give these both a try.
Thanks guys
Bright colorful jig head with a stank ass minnow on the end and probably about a couple ft off the bottom in about 11ft of water.
ОтветитьGreat video thank you, I'm located in central Saskatchewan in Canada 🇨🇦 and my big question is what do you do where the lake is only 15-20ft max, avg. 12ft, and heavy vegetation, how do you not get on weeds?
