The interval of the videos keeps getting shorter. I see a trend here. :D

Using the cmo crossing the 0 line is playing the follow though in momentum. It is the same as using the MACD when the jaws are crossing the 0 line. I still think the macd is the best off of the shelf indicator.

Strategy 1 will do better in a range market and strategy 2 will do better in trends.

I love this strategy comparison. This analysis is worth further looking into.

I enjoy these videos, but it may be worth mentioning that the modification from the overbought/oversold lines to the zero line as an entry signal changes the strategy from a mean reversion strategy to a trend following strategy. This essentially flips the return distribution from expecting many small wins and a few potentially devastating losses to many small losses and a few amazing gains. A potential improvement for anyone wishing to stick with mean reversion should see a noticeable improvement to win rate by flipping the reward/risk ratio from 1.5:1 to 1:1.5.
