How is that pile of magnesium windproof?
ОтветитьFriend why at 0,20 shown 2 differents bars united? They are same materials or just the small can be used?
ОтветитьBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
ОтветитьThis looks WAY too easy! I spent at least 30 minutes today trying to start a fire, but I only used things found outside. I had to stop because I split open my knuckle and sliced my finger. Ugh.
ОтветитьShort and clear👍🏻
ОтветитьIv got a survival watch with a fire flint but can't figure out how to use it any ideas please? X
ОтветитьWell done video...short and concise ...to the point.
Thanks for the demonstration..‼
......🔥👍🔥
My lowrider neighbors have stolen magnesium wheels on thier lowrider, excellent source of magnesium... 👍👍👍👍 one could say a lifetime's worth of magnesium for starting fires
Ответить"Pretty much indestructible as well" he says, and drops it from less than a quarter inch to prove it
ОтветитьThat bigger Mag block one is available at Harbor Freight "Magnesium Fire Starter" for $2.00
ОтветитьYou had me until fucking comic sans.
ОтветитьRemember to carry the block of cement white paper and the heaviest striker you can find .... and after 30 minutes off scraping magnesium you can start your fire by dumping all the wood on Fire
ОтветитьWell, I tried using it with a knife, and I scrapped off a bunch of magnesium. And didn't even get a fire(before I watched this video).
ОтветитьIm looking for unlimited
ОтветитьVery helpful 👍
ОтветитьWind proof kinda. The magnesium flakes will fly away in a breeze, so protect.
ОтветитьThanks bro I needed to know this for school in 2020 because the pandemic but this is awesome
ОтветитьOne eternity later
ОтветитьI spent like half an hr using this thing and nothing. Missed the step of making the shaves first
Ответитьit’s funny watching survivor. non of them have a clue that the backside is magnesium and then they go for weeks trying to start an fire with just the flint. i knew that and survivor never addressed it to show how they were doing it wrong because they would look way to stupid
ОтветитьHFT part# 63733 for $2. Works great!
ОтветитьThey look rubbish and I would rather buy a better quality product.
ОтветитьNot the most convenient but definitely useful if you really needed a fire. My Amazon knife came with a small thing of magnesium
ОтветитьIt you don’t scrape like a maniac like that you can get well over 100 fires from that stick
Ответитьreal waste of magnesium. If you do it correctly, you can get a fire going after like 3-4 strokes. But that also depends on the tinder used and yada yada yada.
ОтветитьVery cool tutorial, even with the "fast forward" 👌😎
ОтветитьCarry magnesium powder / shavings instead .
ОтветитьIf this thing can be used only 20 times then surely is a horrible survival tool...
ОтветитьUse a knife, is better
ОтветитьThanks brooo
ОтветитьCarry Bic lighters in different parts of your camping kit, they work. Carry a Ferro rod on you aswell whenever you go to anywhere remote , it will work when you have nothing else....
ОтветитьIt is not flint. It is ferrocerium. Other than that, great video.
Ответитьyou know there's lighters for 1$ dollar ?
ОтветитьYou paid $6 or $7 for that block? Harbor Freight sells them for .97 & used to give them away free.
ОтветитьFerrocerium not flint!
ОтветитьI used this model got quite a few strikes from it before the flint unglued still it was ok..
ОтветитьThat was quite a few strokes leaving one a bit out of breath for the magnesium.. I would get much more fire from a Bic Lighter albeit I got to keep it dry.. These gadgets are still handy as backup..
ОтветитьInstead if using themagnesium, I use the sparks to ignite a puddle of gasoline
ОтветитьI cant get mine to spark
ОтветитьHow do you make that look so easy?! I'm sweating...my sparks hit the mag but it won't ignite.
ОтветитьThank you. Now I will win survivor
ОтветитьWorthless video , , , did not use the block one , , ,
ОтветитьBasically a method for people who don't want to use a lighter, so they can think of themselves as wilderness experts.
ОтветитьUse a decent knife and you can shave off strips of the magnesium then scrape a little bit of powder at the end then strike with a ferro rod and job done in any weather basically as magnesium burns so hot!
Ответить2025😁☝️
