Ive never been a hockey fan, i dont know how i stumble to him and now I will wait for the NHL season to start to watch him play, he is the kind of player that will attract new audience to the sport I believe.

What a phenomenal game of Slovakia! We are used to Canada playing out of this world games, but here one could feel this great spirit of hockey sport in both teams. Slovakia came so close to beat the champions... but this last winning attack was just insane!

Too be honest with u Canada has a top of the line team like there a powerhouse is world hockey Slovakia is starting to become a powerhouse too

I'm not a hockey expert but can we all agree that canadas defense is horrible that their offence makes up for it, also that one bad play bedard made by sliding on the ice full belly was horrible decision making

Idk if anyone’s gonna see this cuz it’s 5 months after, but holy crap what a game. This was essentially Slovakia’s u19 team as well, only 4 players can’t return to next year’s team. If they had Slafkovsky I doubt they would have lost this game. That being said what a winner from the future Blackhawks legend

This was a close game because Slovakia’s goalie did a great job, otherwise they would have been toast. I see some people say that Canada got a favorable call going into the overtime is so wrong. The Slovaks got away with a lot of non cross-checking calls against Canada. They played dirty. Connor Bedard deserved all the credit and accolades in this game and tournament. I look forward to watching him in the NHL. I hope he ends up playing on a Canada team where fans will give him a proper respect. It’s BS that Bedard got a penalty. The last goal was spectacular!

One of the best WJC tourneys in recent memory. Czechs and Slovaks played so well.

It was so funny people were all upset at Bedard for taking a chance/risk to score the Michigan. Did he not take a chance/risk on the overtime goal too? He's praised for one but not the other.

Had the blessing of watching this goalie play IRL, made a lot of saves that I thought he had no chance on. Special goalie with a good career ahead of him.

I think we can say for awhile now...that Slovakia is no longer a "guaranteed win to the semis" anymore.

This game was by far the best game in the tournament. When I was watching it I was feeling sick I was so worried for Canada. But then BEDARD comes in STRONG. He couldn't score with a shot so he took on all 3 players and puts it in. This game and the gold medal game were amazing. But by far this game was insane.
